Havent seen lightening like this in years!

I am sad to say that 5 minutes ago was my first time using the strobes properly since the end of summer, Quite liked the familiar sound of the two vivitars firing up at the same time though :)

Processed this one in Lightroom 3 also, Im finding the adjustment brush quite clumsy for painting adjustment masks. With each stroke it insists on pausing any further actions until it has finished rendering, about a 1/2 second to 1 1/2 seconds worth of a pause max but after a few strokes or multiple passes on the one adjustment it does begin to get slightly frustrating, It does pick up my wacom though and activates some opacity dynamics to the brush without me having to go into any dialogues to set it up I'll give it that but for any images requiring multiple, complex masks I think photoshop would have to be started up.

I'm going to continue making little mini reports on the LR3 beta over this next week while Im off. So far so good, definately liking this flickr plugin that came preinstalled.

If anyone has any tips for any LR features feel free to leave a comment as I still dont think Im using it properly.

Havent seen a white 405 for some time. Had quite a few drive by spots that need quick action so some of the pics arent perfect. This 405 looks smart and has done 139k miles!

I havent been riding that much because of my frame being cracked which means i havent been using my camera as much which is a shame. But i got of m ass and went down the warehouse for a chill and took my camera and got some pretty sick pictures and everyone has got so goos since i havent been riding aswell......... I havent been able to get out and take photos for close to a month now, so re visiting my old images.

This was a favourite from my Nelson Bay trip earlier this year, taken on my 5d Mark ii which i had at the time.

I feel i have come a long way in terms of my compositions since this shot, but i quite like it.

Havent had a chance to shoot anything lately and not likely to for a little while so heres a quick one sneaked in from several weeks ago. HAPPY 2009 everyone and looking forward to seeing all the images on flickr this year.

This is one of those images that no matter which way I rotated the horizon it never looked straight, maybe too much New Year wine for me!!

i havent done much photoshoppery lately it seems so i had a wee go with the pictures i took the other day.

my portraiture project is people and animally stuff simply, and has to be shot on 5x4 film, but i had a play about with my canon too in the studio, couldnt resist it :)
