I havent been able to get out as much this past month to shoot, but had a chance to take a little photo walk around the Fremont Neighborhood in Seattle on Memorial Day. I didn't get a lot of keepers but did like this capture of the Aurora Bridge.

I havent played rise of tomb raider yet, I really want to play that, but also want to get BF1, and also of course get skyrim remastered...

Kind of a record shot,fantastic to see a pair of these today local to me.We instantly recognised the 'purr' instantly and then we saw the pair high on wires with the sun infront of us.Havent seen a wild one in a long time,hopefully they will breed at this site.

it was snowing really hard earlier! White christmas yay!

i converted this one to monotone in photoshop and changed the contrast slightly, also darkend some of the edges for some local contrasting. I like how it turned out. What do you think?

i havent uploaded anything in a while, and i was bored so i decided to create a mask inspired by uma thurman

i haven't posted in so long! i havent been taking very pictures this year either, but i'm really proud of this.

here's a photo that i took as part of my work for ib art, about the restriction we place on ourselves in different environments. this was inspired by the "home" series by lexi mire - but instead of finding home, i found that living in such a big and vibrant city has left me lost, unable to find comfort and call this place my home.

and for the first time - i took pictures in a public spot, people were walking by, watching, giving me weird looks, etc. but it was worth it.

good morning my flickr friends its about 2;45 a.m. here and i couldnt sleep so i thot i would treat u guys with some new or old stills that i havent seen yet and maybe u havent either so i hope u enjoy them! i actually had fun trying to find them! =)

im starting to play with makeup a lot, in case you havent noticed. one of my favorite parts about doing self portraits, is getting to become a different character all of the time.

it took me about 2 hours to do my makeup, glue together those sticks, and get them into my hair. i was in a bit of a time crunch when it came to shooting this, but i think im at least a little satisfied with the outcome - could have come out better, but thats ok! i really like the right image by itself, but it doesnt tell the whole story i had in mind. its strange too, im doing so many diptychs lately.

I havent gone fishing at all this year - not really sure why - should fix that.

Black Pennell is my favourite and most used wet fly. This one does have a barb but if I was going to use it I'd snap the barb off with a pair of small pliers as all fishing on our river is catch and release.

Havent' seen this much water coming over these falls in a very long time!

I havent made up my mind how I am going to handle the change made to flickr yesterday. I HATE it. I am going to start posting photos on this website and see how it goes. It works almost identical to the way flickr did the other day. The only drawback is it doesnt seem to have as large of a community as flickr. I havent gotten a whole lot of chances to really push my new camera yet, but tonight I figured I'd test out the low light capabilities. A friend and I shot the wheel for a bit, and its safe to say after getting home and reviewing these, I'm ever more grateful. This is a single exposure that my old camera would have murdered.

I havent show this before, it was the darkest part of the day and even with increased Exposure Value of +1.3 it was a struggle to get good shots. Looking back it now has some appeal, more dramatic but less detail.

Its not a common sight to see one fully loaded with weaponry like this.

i havent managed to get out and capture any new images this week so heres a wider and lower shot of this great jetty on coniston water, lake district uk.

Havent seen an aurora stand out this much in the moonlight sky sine the 1st October 2012. I was out before the CME struck, so the whole thing took me a bit by surprise, but luckily I had plenty of batteries and memory cards. The CME was somewhat early, although SpaceWeatherLive.com weren't to far off the mark with there prediction around 4 am, whilst NOAA were thinking later on the 8th. This shot was taken with a Samyang 14mm lens, f3.5, around the peak of the activity.

I havent made a new outfit in a while and got a new outfit mod I wanted to mess around with.

Crete ... Trying to catch up havent been around for a while due to getting married recently.

I havent had much of a chance to try my new B/W ND10000 filter, but I have got to report, now that I am fully functional, that it is a stunning piece of Kit!!

This is a 20 second exposure early morning light... I love the effects it gives...

Havent had much frost or wetness this year which usually compresses this into the ground

I know I havent been regular in my uploads or for that matter visiting the streams, but then the holiday season was totally spent not moving a muscle ;) To that end I completely unw

inded and relaxed without doing much...infact not doing anything that I normally do...I ended up doing a lot over last year and generally I was feeling enervated towards the business end of the year. So all I did was to soak in as much as I could with the holidays and recharged myself.

Work is keeping me pretty tied down and hopefully I get enough time to be on flickr more often :) In a way without flickr, there seems to be nothing that motivates me to shoot and try and get better in what I do..so nothing can completely take me away from here...having said that, it has become increasingly difficult to manage my time of late and this year is going to be no different work wise.

Winter is supposed to be here but the temperature seems to be like spring already with trees sprouting some leaves in my neighborhood! If not for the early sunset, Id swear I am in April now. Hope everyone had a good holiday and things are settling down in the new year.

This is the Green Bridge of Wales - located within an ordnance facility in Pembrokeshire. This is a spectacular natural arch, which has been carved by the sea into the cliffs of the Pembrokeshire coast. Visitors can reach this feature by means of the Pembrokeshire coastal path, near Bosherston, an easy grass path which leads to a viewing platform. If you are in the area, this is a must-see place. However bear in mind that the road that leads to this magnificent arch is subject to army closures and it is worthwhile to get the timings of closure before heading out there. But usually it is open during weekends and bank holidays.

I havent seen a prefacelift MKII for a while, they have mostly disappeared. Quite a few later ones still around, but I did see one identical to this one on a flatbed a few days prior to this even, it was rotten though. I like these cars rather alot, and the two tone colour looks great. Very similar looking to the Cortina, something the MKIII had in common with the formers successor.

i havent of course took this shot, but its one of my favorites of me what do you think ?????????

I havent shot much over the last two Weeks thanks to the absolutely miserable Weather we had around here most of the Time,but i still have many more Shots taken during the beautiful Winter Weather we had here for a Week back in January i want to show.One of them is this View of a Tree in the Fields not far from the Place where i live taken earlier on the same Day as "On a beautiful Winter Day 2." the Shot i shared on Sunday.I already showed the same Tree in "A lonely Tree on a bleak Winter Morning." a Shot i shared two Weeks ago but as the mood of both Shots is totaly different i thought its ok to share both.

Havent done much astro for the last couple of months but the milky way was stunning last night and couldnt resist a quick image of the Cygnus region around Deneb/Sadr with its various Nebula

An older picture, I havent really taken any pictures recently.

At Shandi's recent vet visit we discovered that since we got Banjo Shandi has lost 13 pounds (6kg). Now I guess she was a little chubby before but she's borderlining too skinny now so lucky her is getting fed more in hopes of her putting on a bit of weight.

Also sorry everyone for not really commenting lately. I've just been so busy I've hardly had time to do anything. I'll try to comment today.
