If you havent seen any cardinals in a while dont worry, they are fine, they are all at my house. Its been a little crazy here with the cardinal activity, usually theres 12-15 of them in my yard at any given point during the day. I've been redoing a bunch of plants around out by the feeders and messing with perches, so they are getting readjusted to me being in the basement door shooting as well as their new surroundings. And once again, the redbud creates a lovely backdrop
Havent uploaded much b/w le in a while. been struggling to find new spots. I was lucky enough to have the perfect conditions for this l.e shot.... perfect for lighting anyway. the weather was quiet bad. wind and waves were smashing in, had to lift my camera high in the air a couple of times during exposures when I saw big waves about to crash into the rocks.
hopefully I will get to some other locations iv been scouting soon.
we havent got a lot of calm weather at the time...we run after the sun, if its there for just a few minutes...lol
Wow, I used my kit lens..I haven't used it in SO long.
I'm really fond of this, but it is early.
I [hated] sitting in my back yard. I was laying in the center if I turn around on any direction a sun room is facing me. Joys of town homes that are the same.
i havent really posted anything for a few weeks as the weather hasnt been the best, so heres one from this morning at bass lake. pretty spectacular! havent seen colours like this in a long time.
Oh my gosh I havent uploaded in so long! I am so exhausted from my 9 hour shift at work. It was incredibly long and boring due to the lack of customers eep!
I feel like giving up on my 365 right now. But then again I don't really because I committed myself to this project.....and I don't want to be one of those people who give up.

Havent picked up my camera for almost more than half a year. I hope the next half will be more productive. (I thought that I had forgotten how to take pictures and use camera at all, but no huh)

Well I havent posted any Bahama shots in a while, so I thought it might be time for a change from cats & KY.
Ohhhh and the colours have not been enhanced in this - just true colours shining through. Amazing, huh? Nothing like the Bahamas, well unless its a Sanibel sunset.

i havent managed to get out alot recently as im in the middle of moving house so spare time isnt something i have at the minute. so a quick drive to river brathay this morning where some mist just swept across the scene during dawn.
Havent been motivated to post photos to flickr in a while this is a recent-ish shot that I kinda dug. I am still sitting on a pile of undeveloped films, but I am sloooowly digging my way out of it.
another quiet weekend for me as i havent made any new images.but plan on having a solo trip upto scotland for a few days in a week or so. so with any luck the weather will play ball ill be able to do the place justice. until then here is one from a few weeks ago when rydal water was completely shrouded in fog.
Marks and Spencer currently stock these Envy apples. I havent seen them in previous years but I may just not have noticed.
I think they are very good indeed (but are imported from New Zealand). Not the cheapest either, They are amazingly sweet and crisp and with, I think, an ever so slight, toffee flavour.
I am intrigued by them and so turned to the web to investigate. It seems "Envy" is a marketing/trade name for an apple variety called Scilate :

it is a modern Gala x Braeburn cross. Developed in New Zealand and patented in 2008.
looking further (and thinking about growing a single tree) it does seem to be reasonably hardy but I cant see a supplier in Ireland or UK yet - I can see that it does seem to be commercially available in France.
Yazoo - Sweet thing
I've havent´t been for a while to the Plaza de Armas so the other day a took a walk and there it was this new kind of sculpture.
ive been fairly quiet recently and havent posted a lot of new content, not as much as i would like to anyhow.as they say life has got in the way. im juggling a full time job where i work shifts, im currently in the process of buying a new home and just waiting on a date, and just a few days ago i lost my dad and have all the stress of the funeral and everything else to deal with.so photography is having to take a back seat. so considering im not sleeping so well i thought i would squeeze in a few hours to clear the head and have a drive to somewhere i have never been as i feel im in a bit of a photographic slump.so somewhere new usually helps gets me out of a rut.
anyway this place was really easy to find and more or less right next to the road. pulling up to the location i was underwhelmed as the rain was pouring and it was fairly windy, conditions i normally like but it was going to be hard work getting a clean image in those conditions. i managed to take a few images but there wasnt any light breaking through the thick cloud.so after an hour or so of just walking around some light hit my subjects and completely changed the scene.
another oldie.. Havent been out too much lately (in the last year), been neglecting my cameras and Flickr. But I met the woman of my dreams so Im getting married and moving down to San Diego to be with her

Was just playing around with lens and liked this one.
So I havent really made anything this week, and as I've said before, the schoolyear is going to be slow. Anyways, I felt like my bossverse collection needed these two.

Scarlet Witch- I'm not a huge fan of the classic comics suit nor a fan of the current MCU one so i kinda blended some of my own ideas with a bit of age of ultron inspiration. The torso is from CW darth maul. Legs are custom by me (stolen from Madame Mayheme). The arms are from an age of ultron version I never quite finished. The head is chell with painted tape around her neck. The trenchcoat was made a while back I think for a Vandal Savage, that ended up on bossverse Magneto, and now on her.
Quicksilver- I love the way his suit looked in age of ultron and I really enjoyed his hair in the film. Mostly took some age of ultron stuff, but with a more street clothed appearance. The coat is made of tape. The legs were for a Jay Garrick fig that I scrapped. The head was a Stormtrooper with all the cheekbones, the mouth and the eyebrows removed so I could paint my own details. The hair was luke skywalker with white paint and drybrushed in multiple grays. The torso is based off of Alex's Walking Dead fig (Rick I believe) so credit to him.
Overall I am very happy with these guys.

Ok so FGR today is proverbs..kinda. We have to sound all thinky and stuff. Anyhoo..so I saw these pants yesterday and my strange ol' brain thought 'a Bert in the hand...' tra la la and I got all giddy and excited. And its NOT BURT!!! Its Ernie!!! I'm so DUMB!!!! Anyway..they did do Bert pants but I always thought this one with his rubber duck was more cool so..the thought was there. I've failed you havent I!! O_o
Anyway I'm off at 0530 tomorrow morn and dont think i'llbe uploading much the first week but I'll miss yoooouuuu...I will, oh yes I will, dont tell me otherwise! Hopefully catch up at some point. Have a great weekend! x

Sorry i havent commented much on my contacts images recently, ive been trying to rebuild my website and have been struggling with some of the coding (i think Tim is going to get a call soon) Ive sorted most of it but still have some bits to do. Anyway, This was taken back in early octaberwhen i met up with Dave Dummett for an evenings shoot. The weather wasnt very good when we set off, but for a very brief few minutes the sun did poke its head through the clouds and i was lucky to be set up when it did. This was the 3rd time id visited this slipway and finally got the image i was after of it.
I havent been posting much lately, one of my Flickr friends sadly past away recently and my entusiasm has taken a serious blow. So to get myself going again I've revisited my archive and found a nice image I took at Uluru in Australia.
Never seen it docked angle is so low.
So happy with capture,
but.. raining down and fast.
However, whistle with happy ending.
Dillon Is The Guys Name In This Story
HOW YOU MET ;;
You had meet eachother when you were much younger but didnt begin to talk also much until you guys had begun talking in 7th grade. and now you guys are in your first year of highschool.

Winter break had just ending and yet you havent talked to dillon once over winter break. you were to busy though, with all the christmas and family get togethers. you didnt really have time fore your self. you had just woken up and looked at the clock. 5:17 it read. well time to get up and get ready for school you thought and head for the shower. about almost an hour later at 6:02 you had come out of the shower. you throw on your NEWgreen and purple checker board skinnies. with of course your fave of all time band tee on with your also NEW knee high converses, grabbed your bag and hurried out the door to hopefully catch up with Rose, Josh, Drake ,Matt,Katie And of course your secert crush, Dillon. "FINALLY Crystal, what took you so long?" Josh asked while giving you a long over due hug. You hopped into the car and sat next Rose. You and her were talkign about what you had gotten for christmas and agreed that you guys MAJORLY need to have a party with all you guys this weekend. well you had finally made it to school, first was math. "GAHH!" you shouted. "i dont wanna do math" you complained. "same _____ , same" Rose said. you had this block with Dillon, but for some odd reason he had stopped talking to you. it really hurt you to have to EVEN look him at when he looks like this and plus he is also avoiding you. So you just decided to shake it off for now, and it comes to the time for the big bash and your house, so your hopeing that Dillon shows up and you can FINALLY figure out what has been going on with him. Rose was already there. of course cuz she wanted to sleepover before the big bash tommorrow. so you and her were talking and you had finally had the courage to bring up the subject of Dillon. "Rose, Whats going on with Dillon? He has been avoiding since winter break:[" "well _____ , I honestly dont know......................" a long pause accurented between you two. and you had finally broke the long pause and said "Rose........................ i havent told anyone ever , but i kinda have feelings for Dillon. You knwo as more then a friend............ and i have had these feelings probably since when he and i first met. but i was just to chicken to tell anyone. and now, i dont think anything is ever gonna be the same between me him and i. i mean seriously who else can i call just to have a long talk about nothing.................. i really wish i knew if he felt the same way" and at that very moment you felt someone staring at you, so you looked up and same Dillon standing right there staring at you with his beautiful eyes. but sadly there was no gorgeus smile to come with it. you just look down. sad of what he might have to say. "So...... well i guess you know now and.............." and the next thing you know he is sitting right in front of you on your bed. the next thing you know he put his hand under your chin and then he spoke in his beautiful voice you have missed hearing. "______ ..... i have felt that same way about you, even before we had met. i could just tell when looking at you , that you were the one, that you would be the one that i spend the rest of my life with....." and before he had his chance to fihish, you kissed him and you guys had begun to make out and well lets just say you guys make love. and the next thing you know its 10:17. and your party was gonna start at 1:30. you turned over to see that Dillon was still asleep. so you wrote him a little note that said: "Good Morning Sleepy Head, If You Need Me I Will Be In The Shower And Then I Will Make You Breakfast"
But before you even had the chance to hop out of bed, he grabbed your hand and forcefully pulled you back onto the bed and started to kiss you passionitly. "COME ON LOVER BIRDS, ITS TIME FOR BREAKFAST!" And You just Couldnt Help But Smile at that comment. so you hurried down the stairs. and had sat on the couch next to Dillon and Rose on the other side. you gusy had all agreed to watching spongebob squarepants and ate cereal. and about almost a month later. Rose and katie had taken you to the doctors to see what has been up with you lately. and when the doctor came back into the room. "well............." katie said "well ______ , your pregant."the doctor said. and Rose and Katie both looked at you as you spoke. "...Hows....Dillon gonna re-" and you stopped mid-sentence. "its okay ______ , if he leaves you we will be by your side to help you with new arrive coming in like 8 months or less." and rose and katie had given you a hug and drove you home. "Dillon honey........ i have something i need to talk to you about......" "okayy baby , what is it?" "well...... umm i dont know how to say this but...., katie and rose took me to the doctor to find out what was wrong with me. and well..... im pregant" and you looked down, you couldnt bare to see the look in his eyes. "baby.........." he spoke and you looked up with tears falling down your face. "i love you and i will stay by your side no matter what" and he wiped away your tears and kissed you lightly on the head.

you had your baby..... or should i say babies. yea you two had twins, two twin boys. you each named one. you named one max and Dillon named the other jack. you guys end up getting married a year after you had your beautiful twin boys and fall pregant again. but this time you only had one, a little girl you had both decided to name her Dana. and you both live your life until of course death comes and grabs you both by the hand.

havent been out much due to the snow and some car problems this week but manage a quick spin on the beach whilst waiting for dinner to cook....colour adjustments in lightroom,dinner in the dining room ! Best viewed large !
