Taken for Macro Mondays theme "Handle with care" . This is a 10 inch table saw blade, showing a section just a bit over 2 inches on the horizontal dimension. It can very easily whack off a finger or two before you realize it, so great care must be taken while it is spinning. Also for 2016: one photo each day (268/366)
These are some of the tools that my husband uses in his work of hand carving violins. I am a little late to the Macro Monday party my friends so please excuse me!
I really dislike seeing a barbed wire fence around a horse's field as they cannot know the danger.

This red leaf is fragile and should be handled with care — just like nature itself. We sometimes take it for granted, but we must respect it so it can remain beautiful.
Cette feuille rouge est fragile et mérite qu'on la manipule avec précaution — tout comme la nature elle-même. Nous la prenons parfois pour acquise, mais nous devons la respecter pour qu'elle puisse rester à son meilleur.
Handle with care, don't swap them if you do will results that you will not have a clear view.

if you handle with great care you might get to hold it for 3 seconds. I was able to get a clearer crisp bubble but the backdrop on this one was the best.

Macro Monday theme - handle with care
I kept this needle back from when I had to inject my cat Max, when his kidneys were failing. I knew I would use it as a photo prop one day and it seemed to fit todays MM theme perfectly.
Sorry, I am struggling to catch up with commenting, I will be back later. HMM

Somewhere under the rainbow these glasses broke...
Happy Macro Monday everyone!
My first HMM attempt, I wasn't sure about the image border, I hope it's allowed.
I guess I should explain what happened: These frames are my Mom's, she stumbled and broke them (but my Mom is OK, thankfully, and the glasses remained intact, too). I asked her if I could photograph them for my first Macro Monday entry, and showed her the photo, she approved of it. She has a new pair now, and the old glasses even fit (with a few adjustments) ;-).

The title Macrowave Cleaner was suggested by Les Fisher. I thought that was brilliant! Thank you so much Les! Check out Les' awesome photostream. www.flickr.com/photos/94958489@N06/
I purchased this device (the Angry Mama) to clean my microwave. You fill it with water and vinegar and heat it up in the microwave. Steam comes out of the vents at the top of the head. (afterwards you wipe down the inside of the microwave)
I took the photo while it was hot and steamy. Unfortunately, I could not get the steam to show up in the photo.
Happy Macro Monday!
.... per permettere ai nostri figli di ammirare ancora queste bellezze!
Le piccole conchiglie rotonde, sembrano piccole lenti, sono chiamate "Occhi di Santa Lucia" e si trovano su alcune spiagge della Sardegna!
.... to allow our children to still admire these beauties!
The small round shells, seem small lenses, they have called "Saint Lucy Eye's" and they are found on some beaches of Sardinia (Italy)!
Chef's knife with Sharpening steel....plus a few shameful spots of rust!
As always, handle with care!

This book is from a collection of Agatha Christie novels once belonging to my mother. It's quite old, no date on the front page, and it's been covered in archival plastic to prevent it from total deterioration. Some of the pages are torn but it's still able to be read as long as the pages are turned very s l o w l y......
Macro of several pieces of crystal in a chandelier. The golden tones from nearby candles cast a lovely colour in the crystals. This is as taken with the exception of one extremely small crop on the right side; I did not edit it in any other way.
