this week's MM theme: Handle With Care
This is a purse that belonged to my husband's grandmother. It was most likely from the late 1800s or early 1900s & is quite fragile.

This was one of my most difficult shots in the dark and behind glass. But it was also one of my best, although unfortunately not the best quality.

I've never been good at sharpening knives until I acquired an implement called 'Swiss istor' sharpener. As evidenced by the numerous scars on my fingers, I should put up a reminder notice in my kitchen stating ' Handle Knives with Care'

My husband provided the specimen - an Eastern Diamondback Rattler - found at the dog pen coiled up and ready to strike my little squirrel dog. I got eyeball to eyeball with it in the grass to make this image.

These are my craft knives I use when doing marquetry very very sharp one false move and you could have a finger off, so I always "handle with care" HMM folks i appreciate any comments/Fav thanks

Here we have a very small snail on a lavender plant, taken using my 30mm Sony f2.8 macro lens.
The size of the snail is a about the size of an average adult small fingernail as can be seen here against the fur of the lavender plant.
