I really enjoyed capturing this scene at night under the moon and stars, but also liked this midday capture there at Marble Canyon (beginning of the Grand Canyon), as the water there was clear and under various positions of the CPL filter, a gorgeous green shade.

Also was good timing here as rafters were coming down the river. Most likely went in there at Lee's Ferry.

THE UNUSUAL.

Green flowers are quite rare I have noticed.

Me, I'm always on the look-out for the 'different', the more unusual.

Novelty Green Ranunculus Flower is a romantic and fresh way to welcome in Spring or Summer.

This sap green Ranunculus is a unique flower known for its abundance of leaf-like petals that is sure to add that perfect extra touch.

Native to Asia with ties to mythology and medicine, this flower symbolised radiance and conveys, "I am dazzled by your charm."

Also known as the Buttercup or Coyotes Eyes.

I wish you all the very best and thank you for all your kind words, time, comments and faves. Very much appreciated.

The green rocks only can be seen in the spring time. The green will be faded as the gradually temperature raise.

In the woods, wild, green and deep

Where the rays of light, they seep

Where the branches stretch out, high and wide

Spreading their arms in the countryside

On the trees stood like towers

Their trunks caressed by the flowers

That are kissed by the rays of light that seep

In the woods, wild, green and deep

Ährige Teufelskralle - Phyteuma spicatum,

Vielen Dank, Paul, für die Erklärung!

After utilizing the wye to drop their inbound cars on the bridge west of the yard in St. Thomas, Ontario, the Ontario Southland crew used the wye again to run around due to the yard being full with cars dropped earlier in the day by GIO Rail. Now on the east end of the yard, GP9U 8235 is in the lead as the crew puts their train together to head back towards Ingersoll.

Interesting how this Green Moss, grows Round.

Derek and I went to the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix on Saturday. I took 5,222 photos, of which I saved 208 great shots (everything in focus, no unwanted motion blur, etc).

Because I do not want to overload my Flickr timeline, I am only posting my favorite fourteen.

Sit with me in the green

Where our love will be seen

Naked and in all its glory

Under trees, that tell a story

Filled with beauty, above our head

As our wild desires , they are fed
