An empty shop in Dunfermline's High Street adorned with graphics advertising a local graphic design company, Ayako Graphics. As previously captured by friend four50photo.

Thinkmap, the company I work for, is moving to Soho. I just got back from putting up the new blik wall graphics onto our entrance wall. They look absolutely fabulous! Putting them up was easier than I thought. Yay for blik!

As the train pulls away.

So before there was a flickr there was the Queensway Tube Stop in London. Sullen and strangely deserted on a weekend afternoon. Waiting long minutes for the tube I chanced upon this wall with its seeming generations of pasted up ads. A kind of evolution, we see what's at the surface but there's a long deep history beneath

This is a black Chevy truck wrapped with a custom design and matte finish. They wanted a military look so we took photos of various parts of old and new military vehicles and created this really cool wrap.

Showcase your brand at your next trade show or product showroom. We recently produced the graphics that Hooey used in their showroom during National Western Stock Show. It's a great way to show off your best designs and create an atmosphere for your brand without having to lug a bunch of products to the show.

Off to the Comics and Books Exchange at Notting Hill to buy a book I could have got for 2p on Amazon but it was an impulse. EDIT: No, to be fair, the cheapest copy on Amazon is £5.02, so I saved 2p. This copy came with a postcard I can send off to the publisher for a brochure. I leave the price sticker on so that people will know I bought it from the Comics and Books Exchange.

It's an appreciation of contemporary music packaging, published in May 1999. There's a melancholic air to it - the book was being published just physical music was dying out. The examples for the most part haven't really dated, although that could be because my tastes were formed at the time. I imagine that a graphic design student bought this in 1999 when he was doing his degree, and sold it shortly afterwards and is now working in a call centre somewhere, or he designs graphics for television shopping channels and wants to die.

There's something a bit odd about looking at pictures of covers of records that I actually own - why not look at the actual record covers?

We had mobile phones in 1999, and used them for voice communication. Fancy that. This was published at the apothesis of Aphex Twin's mainstream penetration, it was all downhill from here.

Nothing exotic. I just need to light up a screen or two. This one was pretty cheap, and I figured the fact that it was manufactured by the motherboard manufacturer could only increase the odds that everything would actually work after I snapped it together.
