Entanglement
Not so much the tangles of
the outer world, have put
my thoughts in a clew, a
maelstroom
but the absence of power
moving energy
in the right direction.
Verwarring
Het is niet zozeer de
warboel van de buitenwereld
die mijn gedachten lieten
vastlopen in een kluwen,
een maalstroom
maar de afwezigheid van kracht
die energie in de juiste
richting beweegt.

Vintage Olympus Zuiko OM 2.0 28 mm customized by OM Labor on Sony A7RII
The 700 years old windmill "Geismühle" beside the autobahn A57 west near Krefeld, one of the oldest mills for cereals of the lower Rhine region.

"New Edge design"? Forget Ford - look at this 40 year old Cadillac Eldorado.
Seen at Techno Classica 2009.
A large flock of birds, takes off at the right time when I was aiming at them so I had the unique chance to catch their perfect choreo(graphics) in the evening light, with a romantic and nostalgic note and a subtle reflection. Soon the winter kicks in and we have to wait for the new season, to see them again. At least, for now, they are here, performing for all of us.
An abstract shot of my old graphics card for this week's Macro Mondays theme of 'Handle with Care'. Circuit boards are notoriously vulnerable to static and are quite fragile. I used some cat toys to make an interesting background and a Canon EF100mm f/2.8L lens strapped to 52mm of extension tubes giving a magnification of roughly x1.47. 10 natural light exposures at f/5.6 combined in Zerene Stacker.
a stop near, Van Horn, Tx- to pump up on some gas and view the beautiful sunset that is going behind the mountains in the far horizon. ended up capturing some graphics too.

Developed in Diafine 3,5+3,5 min.
Pushed probably to the highest limit.
This little experiment convinced me that the upper acceptable sensitivity for 35mm Tri-x and Diafine is ISO 1250 (ISO 1600 for 120 film, from my previous experiences), unless you really need a heavy grain and high contrast.
