I'm limiting myself to about an hour to work on a theme. These are the results.

The 1964 issue has a very interesting article on map design. This map was designed on an early IBM computer.

Letterpress coaster series we produced for Anthem! www.anthemww.com Besides turning out beautifully (mainly due to good appropriate design work) the piece is also a good example of using 2-color printing and other letterpress learning.

It was "welcome to Spokane" as much as the fair.

i had a blast designing the brand identity for 101 south, an up and coming band from santa barbara, california. this is one of the brand identity concepts.

maybe I will post template later, this would be cute for photos to share w/family & friends. That is my next project.... (or a mini logo portfolio/biz card?... hmm...

Classic example of a New Graphic Design layout using only two colors, (a two color run for a printing press is much cheaper than full color) but was an exciting visual utilizing space, tension, asymmetrical layout, and san serif letterform.

My firend Porter has this awesome pano camera with which she takes...awesome panos. I particularly LOVE the minimal winter landscape ones, so I took the liberty of remixing them.

Swiss born Modernist, trained at the Zurich School of Arts and Crafts, Max Huber ventured over the border to Italy to make his mark in Milan working for Antonio Boggeri before going out on his own. Some of his best work can be found on the covers of jazz albums and books along with Italian racing posters.
