This is Addie on her Kindergarten graduation day. She actually graduated from Advanced Kindergarten. She wore a size 7 Garden Party dress in white silk dupioni. She has grown so much, both physically and academically, this past year. The cap and gown gives me a taste of moments to come (8th grade, high school, undergraduate, and graduate school graduations).
My former school asked me to take pictures of the graduation. Not all of the seniors had their picture formally taken and included in the "Senior Photos" section of the yearbook, so I took a posed picture of every senior on Graduation Day. Thumbnail images of the pictures I took were placed on the Graduation Day spread.
This young lady - who is very pretty - wears rather strong makeup, so I added a soft focus to it to difuse some of the harshness. I'm pretty tickled with it - for a first time portrait!

18th Graduation Day ceremony was solemnized in Nehru Arts and Science College on 03.8.2019 at P. K. Das Memorial Auditorium. The Function began with the Academic Procession of the Principal, Chief Guest, Managing Trustee, Secretary and the HoDs.
Adv. Dr. P. KRISHNA DAS, Managing Trustee, Nehru Group of Institutions presided over the function. He insisted the importance of Academic Enrichment of Students and they must exhibit it for the benefit of the Society. He emphasized that the students must be trained in accordance with the requirements of the Industry and the needs of the Society. He also highlighted that the Higher Education system should mould the students to elevate them to the Pinnacle of Success.
Dr. B. ANIRUDHAN, Principal, Nehru Arts and College, welcomed the Graduates. In addition he expressed his vision for the future and stressed the students to envisage the growth through their sincere efforts towards the societal development.
Dr. MOHAMMED BASHEER Vice-Chancellor University of Calicut, Kerala was the Chief Guest. In his inaugural address, he pointed out the Significance of Higher Education. He stated that Teachers must act as Mentor and Trainer by enhancing the students to manifest their knowledge for the development of Our Nation.
Dr. P. KRISHNAKUMAR, CEO & Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions, in his felicitation address, congratulated the graduates. He emphasized that the students must be trained in relevance with the real need of the hour. He also highlighted the values which enhances students to empower themselves in all walks of life.
Dr.S.Jayapriya, Convener of the programme proposed the Vote of Thanks.
