Info (SP): A priori, las diez unidades de este único lote se destinaron a lineas de extrema dureza como la 01 o la 103, donde permanecieron casi una década prestando servicio sin cesar. Al llegar al millon de kilometros sorprendentemente rápido, Global cambio la estrategia y las puso en lineas de media distancia. Sin embargo, un manejo deficiente de la flota asi como la sobre-explotacion de estas unidades causo que durante los años que prestaron servicio hubiera varios incidentes. En 2021 se desguazaron las seis unidades restantes que quedaban de servicio.

Info (EN): At first, the ten buses within this batch were destined to extremely tough routes such as 01 or 103, where they would remain for over decade. Once they reached a million km they were destined to medium-distance routes. However a poor fleet management as well as the over-exploitation of these vehicles caused a couple of incidents during their years in service. In 2021 the six buses remaining in service were all scrapped at once.

Agriculture has a significant effect on biodiversity because of its prevalence over the landscape. Effects include habitat alteration (conversion to farmland for crops and grazing), exotic pest introductions and pollution from pesticides and fertilizers. Agriculture has the greatest impact on the environment of any human activity both because of the degree of habitat alteration that occurs and because of the widespread geographical scale of this alteration. Todas salvo tres de estas potentes maquinas siguen sirviendo en la flota

Info (EN): After testing the strength from the vehicles from the first generation, Global decided to place an order of twenty-two vehicles from the newest generation. Out of those twenty-two, twenty were 15m long vehicles. They mainly started out covering the callous 01 route; which takes an astonishing 4-hour-plus duration from point to point. Currently all but three of these powerful machines remain in service.

In todays globalized economy we trade more and more with each other which means that more and more goods is being shipped back and forth around the globe.

Sometimes this goes according to plans and sometimes not.

This week I am quite annoyed with UPS since they just proved they are bad, running a service with shady and dishonest terms. why?

When making a purchase on a international webshop i had to use them - No problems I though since their fee was said to include pickup, customs clearance and delivery. Unfortunately and very dishonestly UPS then after I reciveed the package added a few new fees since according to their representatives "customs clearance doesn't mean taking care of clearing the customs". How anyone would know the difference is unknown. Also unknown is how the extra fees are calculated since i am still to find info on that. I find the whole thing fraudulent and will not use UPS anymore or webshops that force me to use them.

The Svalbard Global Seed Vault is a secure seedbank located on the Norwegian island of Spitsbergen near the town of Longyearbyen in the remote Arctic Svalbard archipelago, about 1,300 kilometres from the North Pole. The facility preserves a wide variety of plant seeds in an underground cavern. The seeds are duplicate samples, or "spare" copies, of seeds held in genebanks worldwide.
