Every year we make gingerbread cookies to pass out. My wife goes through great pains to make sure eye colors and decorations are appropriate for each person and then puts their name on it. When we had kids at home, it was a family production. Now that we are empty nesters and do it all ourselves, the number of cookies keeps increasing.

Gingerbread dough is used to build gingerbread houses similar to the "witch's house" encountered by Hansel and Gretel.
I heard a crunching sound when I got up this morning. I went out to the dining room and saw Miss Lily with some of Denylle's house.
You're not eating Denylle's house are you?
She gave me some for breakfast, said Miss Lily. It is not as good as I thought it would be.
Well, I said, I didn't have time to bake one this year. This is a kit.
The candy is good, she said.

"Visitors can marvel at homemade gingerbread houses made entirely of edible gingerbread, royal icing and candy. The houses are drafted, designed, baked, planned, built and decorated by baker Jon Lovitch over the course of an entire year. GingerBread Lane has won the Guinness World Record for 2013, 2014 and 2015 for the largest gingerbread village. Lovitch’s creation will again contend for this year’s Guinness World Record."

This massive gingerbread house even has a snowman being built in the front yard. What better way to get in the holiday spirit!
It still boggles my mind that places like this are just sitting around abandoned...
and a bank has not been involved.
Chestnut Flour Gingerbread adapted from the #LCBO Magazine. Spicy, rich and tender, perfect for the holidays
I hosted a Gingerbread House Party again this year and due to an overlap with a school function we had more adults than kids, so the houses looked a bit more "orderly" this year. We get a bunch of kits for this so we don't have to bake anything, just assemble and decorate. It's always a lot of fun.

A perfect card to send for Christmas to beloved ones! Cheerful gingerbread man brings warmth, smile, good mood and some spice to your home.
The idea of this set/collection is that all the cards are also Xmas tree decorations and can be hung on a tree. I used high quality materials. All cards have been made manually with great attention.
6S held a Gingerbread man decorating party to celebrate the season. Each 6S'er decorated their Gingerbread man to resemble themselves. Pretty sure we are going to stick with what we do best - Internet marketing!
