David and I get in the holiday mood and make gingerbread houses - they were actually made out of graham crackers. My finished house. Not too bad considering how it started off.
we got these new mugs recently - i love them! and this is the first gingerbread man I've ever had, I reckon he is looking to swim in that lovely warm tea
There is so much joy to be found in the little things that make up the holiday season. This gingerbread man's smile makes me happy!
These gingerbread cookies are the first cookies I ever decorated. They where for my son's kindergarten class. The kids where so exited when they saw the cookies (specially girls).
Stefan made his gingerbread house without us, so we don't have pictures of that. Chris wanted help to make his - and a good thing! The roof kept falling apart! Note the columns we added to help keep it up!
6S held a Gingerbread man decorating party to celebrate the season. Each 6S'er decorated their Gingerbread man to resemble themselves. Pretty sure we are going to stick with what we do best - Internet marketing!

For some time now we have always headed to Kelly's to create our own little Gingerbread House. Everyone pitches in and this was how it turned out this year.

Here's Jason's head-eating, one-legged zombie.
This MOC was originally made as an entry for the Eurobricks Winter Village Expansion. This is the house where one of the elves live. Santa and the elf's twin brother will have a quick Christmas dinner here before delivering gifts around the world.
I tried to put as much details as I could on a 16x16 plate. This small gingerbread house has the following features:
- A small Fireplace
- Dining Area
- Receiving Area with gifts
- A Sleeping Loft with a writing desk.
Let's not forget Santa on a Segway! :) Short distance travels are now made easy by gliding on two wheels. Rudolph and the rest of the gang are pleased as they now have more time to chill.
I do have one thing I wish to had for this build - lattice windows or regular window panes. It would have a much nicer effect to the house.
I hope you enjoyed viewing this MOC as much as I enjoyed building it.
I have also put this MOC on display at the Dallas Cityscapes in the Galleria Dallas Mall in Texas. If you're from around the area, please visit the exhibit. It's for a very good cause.

Oreo Cookies Gingerbread Special Edition Christmas Winter 2013 by Mike Mozart of TheToyChannel and JeepersMedia on YouTube.
made a small army of small gingerbread men again (and some pretty little stars). Fortunately I read the recipe properly this year, and did not end up making an entire kilogram of gingerbread dough.
So, this is my very first attempt at a gingerbread house, and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. It's not as fancy as some I've seen, but I'm satisfied.
If I'd had more time I would probably have made a cake instead, but now I think I might like to try this again next christmas.
I brought it to work and my colleagues loved it.
Yay! I am late on the Christmas front! Here is a good friend of mine from high school and her younger sister at grand old Heritage Park. Now anyone who has gone to Heritage Park will know - the gingerbreadmen there are fantabulous. I think I have spent more time in that bakery then at the rides.
A very belated Merry Christmas!
On a good note, I am finally working on a functional blog!
