This masked lapwing was having one of its agitated days and let me know I was not very welcome on my own front lawn! Maybe the drizzly weather wasn't helping.
Happy Feathery Friday!
The end of Fall is getting there. As I am, in slowly catching up on Flickr after being away. This image was taken while out on a photo walk in a local park. The time change to shorter days is around the corner and the birds that remain for the winter seem to be aggressively eating at the backyard feeder - at least until some very furry looking squirrels chase them away to get at it for themselves. I may have to get a live trap to relocate these persistent and smart little rodents. In the mean time, have a Happy Sliders Sunday!
Walking the shore line of the Delaware shore line I found this structure to be interesting enough to capture. Interesting look at visual perspective built of wood. Low tide provided this opportunity to enjoy the structure and the great shadow it provided. Thanks for viewing my work. Stay safe, be kind and wash your hands🙏.
cuz I'm comin' at ya!
Speed skating on air with no skates, LOL. Thanks BigBird3
Same hummer as in my previous post of a hummer
There was a real quick lift off of the deck railing and he started right towards me. Then He/she veered off rather than poking me in the head with his little beak
It was just like it is today one very dreary wet foggy mist filled day. The on,y advantage of weather like this is that the drops that form on smaller objects do stick round and form perfect spheres like on this moss.
Thanks for stopping

A tiny bush robin on a track at the city's ecosanctuary. They like to catch insects right by your feet but my lens will not focus that close. Maybe if I was 2m 50cm tall? Or should I put an extension ring on my 600mm zoom? Finally after I had retreated backwards about 50m it stopped chasing for a moment and let me get a shot:)
Bassenthwaite Lake with Skiddaw mountain to the left.
Back from my first trip to the Lake District! Amazing place and we got lucky with grim but beautiful weather.
As mentioned the weather was mostly moody but we took a chance and headed to the nearest lake before breakfast, 20 minutes of colour!
The small peak on the left is called Dodd Fell and we almost made it to the top on Saturday but we got distracted with the views and the light was fading so we headed back. so much to explore!
This little one was so enjoying the opening festivities to Caribana. Soca dancing with the best of them. Too darn cute

Yup it’s decaying flowers time again, what else would you expected this time of year from me? It’s been pretty cold here in S Wales, but not as cold as Scotland and northern parts of the UK. Just thankful to be able to grab some time with the camera today and catch some interest in the garden. Thanks, for stopping
