A photographer gets a better viewpoint than I was willing to at Morgan Falls south of Ashland, Wisconsin.
These cows just kept getting closer and closer. It turned out they just wanted to show me their bums. Ah well.

It's getting dark in the middle of the afternoon. Snowclouds are gathering, but won't start covering the earth yet.
A great atmosphere for waiting in a dark forest.

I've spotted the combine harvesters out already and I'm feeling I haven't yet found the pick of the crop: a glowing, waving field of barley. But because the Rewind Festival was on at Capesthorne Hall I decided to take the longer, back way to work and spotted a pair of wheel tracks leading from a gateway through a field of oats. This morning the light was half decent and I had left home slightly early so I thought I had time to park up, tip toe through the muddy field entrance and grab a shot. Unfortunately the road was and there was no ideal spot to park but there was a bit of what I took to be someone's front lawn nearby. "I won't be long" I said to myself as if it would pacify the owners inside the house, and dived round the corner into the field. The shadows and light were nice but I know I rushed it in my usual carefree manner. In and out, and the woman in the house probably never knew I had been there. But I got my oats. Am I too late to get barley this year?
This chick is beginning to get the hang of this flying thing, and it's my favorite Aerosmith album. (most of you won't get that)
James shoots Y164 as it comes up 4 track at HX. Personally, I had already been feeling awful that morning, and the unusually cold and damp weather added to the overall shitty atmosphere. I had to get away.
..last summer! someone asked how on earth she got up there...so- here you go! LOL..this is why it's good to bring friends along on photoshoots. ;D
BTW: get out there, take behind the scenes pictures, join Getting the Shot, and add your pictures to the new contest! Okay? We need more participants! :D
There is very few places in the UK where you can watch a Freight train getting loaded, that can be viewed from a public road or footpath. Viewed from the footbridge at Arcow Quarry is 66735 being loaded before forming 6D77 to Hunslet on the 7th September 2018.
Thanks to everyone for their marvellous support and friendship during 2007! I wish everyone a very happy New Year and hope 2008 will bring you the realisation of your hopes and dreams! :)

~Get Your Own~
God knows, I love Onion Rings. I got these yesterday at my local "The Habit Burger Grill" as I had a free Char-burger coupon they gave away for registering an email address.

After a long walk yesterday, they were very happy and finally started playing with each other. A breakthrough after almost 2 weeks!!
If the headcode was genuine and not coincidently the locos running number 9O16 will take an awful long time to get down to the South coast?

Google Review:
" I had entrusted Quality Taxidermy to mount my 10.5 ft gator head to commemorate a fantastic animal and one of the greatest hunting experiences of mine. When I got the gator head back I was shocked at how bad the quality was. It did not look real at all (looked fake) and it had cracks all over it and in places chunks of it were falling out. Worse of all it smelled horrible (not a chemical odor - like bacteria ridden putrid rotting flesh)! The smell was so bad that the gator mount could not be kept in the house, so it was relegated to the garage. However, the smell was so terrible that it was too much for even the garage, so it went into the outside tool shed, basically a waste of money and trophy. When I called to complain they told me "well, it stank when it got here..." no joke. Two years later it still stinks."
Maybe there's a reason they went out of business?
