Frontenac Provincial Park is unique threshold wilderness area situated on a ancient granite ridge linking the Canadian Shield to the Adirondack Mountain Range .This geologic feature is known as the Frontenac Arch occupying a region in Ontario where five differing forest types converge , resulting in enhanced species diversity.
In 2002 the Frontenac Arch was recognized as a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO .
Bathed in a soft light against a dark, dramatic background, this Cyclamen bloom holds the spotlight. Its gentle pink petals unfurl like wings, revealing a deeper crimson heart. The shallow depth of field elegantly blurs its companion in the background, drawing the eye instantly to the exquisite details and subtle textures of the perfectly focused flower. A dance of light and shadow, the image captures a moment of quiet, ethereal beauty.
A few days ago, when the sun was still shining, my mate Rob showed me some great places near his home town. That day we saw some Buzzards and deer amongst the vines.
