Pink and red geraniums. Love the vivid colours.

More mauve, less pink in real life

Geraniums sat on a well lit window shelf for the winter. I loved the stamen on this one

Two geraniums were blooming in a pot beside my front door when the first hard frost threatened them. I re-potted them and they are now happily blooming in a south-facing kitchen window. I thought they'd make a good subject for my b&w flower series but this color was too beautiful to convert. Maybe next time!

A couple of weeks ago, I picked up some more geraniums to add more color to the porch. I really liked this one because it's a huge plant, and I absolutely love those red dots 'blushing' the middle of each petal. :: EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro - 1/200sec, f/2.8, ISO 100, 100mm
