The plant grows to 75 cm tall, it is a mound-forming herbaceous, perennial with deeply cut and toothed 7-lobed basal leaves. In summer, flowers are borne on stalks with ruffs of leaves. The flower color ranges from mauve to sky blue, depending on soil conditions.
This plant is one of many Geranium species which are valued in gardens. It is suitable for cultivation in temperate climates in reliably moist, lightly shaded positions, as the name suggests.

Grow these in your garden, bees love em. They can be split and replanted where ever you want and come back every year .

- Geranium Rozanne
The best, most garden-worthy hardy Geranium you can grow. The finely cut foliage is accented by large (for a geranium) blue-purple flowers with pale blue eyes which cover the plant from late spring to frost, being one of the longest blooming perennials in the garden.
Internationally recognized through being selected as 2008 Perennial Plant of the Year in North America and receiving the RHS Award of Garden Merit (UK).
- Geranium Rozanne
These wild flowers have multiplied nicely in my backyard. Somewhat a success story.
