Geranium in Brittany.

Geranium pink - the cutting nicked from the park just before they dug them up last winter, is now in flower.....

Geranium pratense, the meadow crane's-bill or meadow geranium, is a species of hardy flowering herbaceous perennial plant in the genus Geranium and family Geraniaceae.

Interesting how the flowers change colour as they get older.

Best viewed large.

G. pratense 'Mrs Kendall Clark': the wild meadow geranium, often found on roadside verges in southern England, has given rise to many forms. They're popular in sunny summer borders and grow 90cm (3ft) high.

also known as the woodland geranium... the meskwaki indians used this plant to brew a root tea for toothache - taken at magpie lodge, somerset

Pot plant on my kitchen windowsill. Well.... I think its pretty anyway!

When you take the trail along the lake to the upper trail which will lead you through the forest alongside of the trail and deeper into the forest are many wild geraniums, very year there are more and more of them, they get just the right amount of sunshine to blossom.
