Geranium - 2 star Michelin restaurant in Copenhagen. The chef Rasmus Kofoed is the record keeper of Bocuse d'Or, the most well-known world culinary contest - the winner of Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards.
The dinner at Geranium in last Dec. was one of the most impressive meal I had in last year. I took a lot of photos during the meal. Please enjoy this incredible food show.

Geranium magellanicum is a Patagonian native.
From Waterton National Park. Spent the past five days at the 9th Annual Waterton Wildflower Festival. Wow. There are so many hundreds of varieties of wildflowers in this very special place and this Geranium variety is just starting to bloom so thought I would share.
The spectacular setting of Waterton Lakes National Park is home to more than 50 per cent of Alberta's wildflowers... more than any other Rocky Mountain national park. Over 50 of Canada's rare flowers grow in Waterton, 30 of which are found only in this park.
From beargrass to orchids, nature is on display in a panorama of blossoms among prairies and peaks. This amazing diversity of wildflowers will be celebrated in the annual Waterton Wildflower Festival (Wilfdlower Site)
Meadow cranesbill is a perennial, characteristic of rough grassland such as verges and stream sides and of damp hay meadows and lightly grazed pastures. (Now, doesn't that sound bucolic? 😄)
It prefers but is not exclusive to calcareous soils. A native found throughout most of Great Britain except for the north west of Scotland.
Uses: With stringent, styptic and antiseptic medical properties, Meadow Cranesbill and its close relatives were used to relieve a range of diseases including cholera, diarrhoea and dysentery; to treat nosebleeds, ulcers and haemorrhoids and to staunch bleeding wounds.
Geranium, the genus name, comes from the Greek noun geranos, meaning Crane (birds of the group of species known as the Gruidae). It is a reference to the beak-like fruit (seed capsule) which is reminiscent of the long beak of a Crane. The specific epithet pratense means of the meadow.
