Jackie's game has a unique core mechanic you won't find in many off-the-shelf titles: in Petio Game you play against your pet. In the final installation, Jackie had a rat cage configured with a variety of sensors and a microcontroller. Depending on whether the rat was running on a wheel, eating, drinking or sleeping, various parameters of the Flash side-scroller were adjusted.
