I wasn't tagged, but I wanted to participate anyways. These are pretty much some of my most wanted of dolls, who also happen to be insanely expensive. Plus I wanted to let you all know I'm not strictly a Winx collector. Yep, lots of reasons...
1. Mystic doll- Stardust Mermaid-
JUST LOOK AT HER. Those pearls, that hair, the beautiful face colors, and her gorgeous tail (that you can't see very well in this picture). This doll is just perfection itself. But at $598, it might be a while before she's mine.
2. Integrity Toys Fashion Royalty Dynamite Girls London Calling Kyu- *huff* *huff* such a mouth full. I just LOVE his outfit, hair slicked to one side hair, amazing articulation, his Asian-like face.. Ah who am I kidding? I just have this guy completely mindset as Techrat from Jem and the Holograms. I totally love Techrat along with Eric Raymond.... weird, I know but there it is. I have a strange attraction to villain characters of all kinds.
3. Phantom of the Opera Barbie and Ken set- One of my favorite love stories of all time, and an absolutely gorgeous gift set. I really want to get this set because the 6th grade teachers at my old school were best friends and each had a love of Phantom of the Opera and doll collecting, the first fellow doll collector I ever met actually. I have a fantasy in my head of one day walking in to their classrooms and presenting this doll set to them. I wonder if they're still there actually, I haven't checked in a few years.
4. Barbie Queen Elizabeth- I have an extreme love for all things Classic English, and I'm still in the process of discovering the true wonders of Shakespeare beyond the classroom. Elizabeth is one of my greatest historical role models, and until they make a Joan of Arc or historically accurate Anastasia Romanov doll, she's at the very top of my list of historical figures doll collection.
5. Barbie Wind Rider- From an early age, my two biggest unusual obsessions was learning about Ancient Egypt and Native American civilizations. I always wanted Native American dolls, and this one along with American Girl Kaya are probably my most wanted on that list of dolls. She's more Native American inspired than a correct representation, but her insane amount of feathers and gorgeous beaded jewelry makes me giddy every time I think of how awesome it would be to own her. But for the great price of around $700, it might be a long time before she's mine.
6. Ashton-Drake Tiana doll- Never have I fallen so hard for a Disney doll like this one. She's perfect in every single way, down to the hair, jewelry, dress, the best Disney doll EVER made in my opinion.
7. Integrity Toys Synergy- Last year I started watching the Jem and the Holograms series after hearing about it around the web. I instantly fell in love with Synergy's character and her mother like countenance. After finding out she was based off of Jem's mom, I just loved her all the more. Plus how cool would it be to have all of that stuff she can make with her holograms? This doll is just a perfect copy and paste from the show.
Participate if you want to! :D

ODC: Toy, Game or Puzzle
It is a two person game. One hides four colored pegs behind the shield. The other person tries to guess the colors and arrangement of the pegs by placing four colored pegs in a row on the other side of the shield. The person who hid the colored peg shows which guesses are correct with the small black and white pegs. A white peg mean that there is a peg of the correct color, but it is not in the correct location. A black peg means that there is a peg of the correct color in the correct location. With this information the other person makes another guess and the hider responds with another set of black and white peg. This continues until the correct arrangement has been guessed.
Life is a game with a glorious prize,
If we can only play it right.
It is give and take, build and break,
And often it ends in a fight;
But he surely wins who honestly tries
(Regardless of wealth or fame),
He can never despair who plays it fair
How are you playing the game?
Do you wilt and whine, if you fail to win
In the manner you think your due?
Do you sneer at the man in case that he can
And does, do better than you?
Do you take your rebuffs with a knowing grin?
Do you laugh tho' you pull up lame?
Does your faith hold true when the whole world's blue?
How are you playing the game?
Get into the thick of it - wade in, boys!
Whatever your cherished goal;
Brace up your will till your pulses thrill,
And you dare - to your very soul!
Do something more than make a noise;
Let your purpose leap into flame
As you plunge with a cry, "I shall do or die,"
Then you will be playing the game.

This is the heart after which I made my recent illustration. I made it from colored paper for my husband's birthday. I'm not skilled at cutting paper with a knife but anyway, it was fun. It's something like a card, with inscription on the back.
Two of the hardest tests in life: The patience to wait for the right moment and the courage to accept that you've waited for nothing.
This shot is from the peak of a mountain. Right beneath me there is a ledge that goes down a couple hundred feet, so if you fall off its pretty much Game Over.
Well it certainly soon will be for Skodas working for LNER. Here EWS liveried 90 020 'Collingwood' propels the 13.54 Newark - King's Cross over the North Circular at New Southgate. This was another example of my good luck yesterday with the train in the last of another very brief burst of sun.
It would seem that the despicable character that is Nathaniel Bobois has managed to make another appearance in one of our pictures. He's just too much of a rogue not to paint. It's hard to believe that he and the amazing Roche Bobois came from the same parents. So, Nathaniel challenged the might of id-iom to a game of pool and that's not the kind of offer we refuse. With Nathaniel preening and boasting around the pub we had a quick game of Paper, Scissors, Rock to see who would play him first.
I won and took to the table with a quiet determination. Meanwhile Nathaniel was still fannying about selecting a cue when I broke and took down three yellows to boot. Already on the back foot Nathaniel tried and failed to claw it back. I sunk the black about a minute after he took his first shot but he was not put off so with a volley of swearing he put down more money and challenged the other member of id-iom to another game. This went on till we'd cleared him out of the $150 he had. Don't ask me why he had dollars on him but he did. It was money and we took it anyway. Here at id-iom we both feel a bit sorry - not for Nathaniel - but for his brother Roche because he's just going to have to bail him out yet again...
Cheers
