He was engrossed and glued to his mobile phone playing a game on it. Young people sitting and dreaming away are a rare sight these days.
ODC: Playing Games
After almost a month, there was finally another home game to shoot. This was yesterday, so this photo is cold out of the darkroom, so to speak: rather than hot off the press. The goalie kept the puck out in this case and did really well to help the team earn a 4-4 tie against a better team.
I think there's a great moment in this photo as the goalie sprawls but we can still see the puck, as can the two other players. Who will get there first? Even the ref is in on the action with his skate in the air and the whistle to his mouth, ready to blow the play dead.

It’s known as the Wrigley Field “knothole,” evoking Norman Rockwell-like images of kids watching a ball game through a hole in an oldtime wooden outfield fence. But it’s actually a section of the Wrigley Field right-field wall where a metal gate was removed as part of a 2005 bleachers reconstruction project at the venerable old ball field. The gap allows multiple passers-by to view a portion of Chicago Cubs baseball games for free through a double wire-mesh fence. Prior to the start of Wednesday’s game this week, a few fans had already taken up their positions.

Perhaps I spent my A game at North Beach on New Year's Day, because when I started reviewing my shots from today, nothing really stood out for me. Is it that I am overly self critical? I don't think so. I usually know when I'm on and when I'm off. I really thought that I was 'on' with my comps as I reviewed my LCD today, but, alas, the 27" tells no lies. This was one of my better shots from today.
