I love how this photo shows the interaction between the handler and her dogs. The scene was set perfectly with the frost on the grass and the rays from the sun peaking through in the distance.

Virginia Tech vs West Virginia University, 2022
"The Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets (VTCC) is the military component of the student body at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Cadets live together in residence halls, attend morning formation, wear a distinctive uniform, and receive an intensive military and leadership educational experience similar to those at the United States service academies. The Corps of Cadets has existed from the founding of the university as the Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College in 1872 to the present-day institution of Virginia Tech, which is designated a senior military college by federal law. As of August 2024, about 1,300 cadets are currently enrolled in the program." (Wikipedia)

There's usually a lunchtime basketball game on Tuesdays at work, but they weren't playing today. I was kind of counting on getting my project 365 image from the game, so I just photographed the empty court.

Polish soldiers have recently invaded the Czech Republic and have taken the country by storm. In just a matter of a few days troops moved from Krakow over the Czech-Polish border, first taking the border town of Ostrava and working south along the E442 Highway and have just pushed into Brno.
Resistance along the E442 route was little to none as the Czech military was completely unprepared. The few units in towns along the way to Brno were swiftly captured or eliminated.
Polish GROM Commander Nikolai Kumiega, shown here in a grey helmet, inspects a hastily constructed machine gun nest that Czech resistance placed to slow incoming Polish troops, it is assumed that the man being arrested was a Czech soldier who didn't leave with the rest of his squad. Most of the soldiers in the area retreated and pulled out of Brno as the Polish Army has the city occupied. Little resistance is expected as they push into Prague in the next day or two.
