Dunnotar Castle looks like the background from Game of thrones, You expect a few Dragons to sweep by any minute
This was taken about an hour before game time at a game in which the San Diego Padres humiliated the Dodgers (two days before the famous 4+1 home run game!) At least I had fun taking pictures. We like to sit on the Top Deck at Dodger Stadium where the seats are cheap ($6), the fans are for the most part well behaved, and it's not impossible to get a seat in the section behind home plate. The view is wonderful. The field is laid out in front of you so that you can study the game, noting things like the positions of the fielders for various batters. The steep walk down to your seats can be unnerving, so if you have any fear of heights, get seats on the lower levels. Also, it takes a while to realize that every flyball in not a homerun.
This is my first attempt at HDR. To create this shot I took three exposure bracketed shots propping my arm on the armrest to steady the camera. The pictures were combined and tone-mapped in Photomatix.
The hourglass souvenir that I had bought from Singapore has traveled a long way to pose in Rub' Al Khali of Saudi Arabia!

Okay.. this pic is a total lie. I don't dress up like this when I'm playing games on my PS4! :P
But it would be totally awesome to own noobs wearing this outfit! xD
The game has great possibilities. And approaches that make a great game... but Bethesda has ruined all of them.
All chances to create a wonderful game are lost.
Instead we get mediocrity and boredom.
You can build a spaceship... but you can't actually fly it.
Each subsequent journey is just a loading screen. After the second planet you have explored, you will be presented with the same objects again and again, enemies just have a different color.
Hey, you can mine resources... yay... wait... you don't really need them.
Weapon and space suit upgrades... yay...
wait...
you don't really need them.
If you haven't bought the game yet, wait until there's a special offer and until there are tons of mods.
Then, and only then, could the game be something.
But, wait a minute... maybe that's the plan... to sell a rudimentary game and let the community finish it...
They may already have plans on how they can get money out of that.
I've sunk 22 hours into the game at this point...it's possible I'll still play it to see what mods I'll need.

This was a nice shot sent by a random guy that just made my day, it represents part of me, the gamer side!

It was an argument over which was Europe’s fastest game bird that led to the production of the Guinness Book of Records. On 10th November 1951, Sir Hugh Beaver (Managing Director of Guinness Breweries) was with a shooting party in County Wexford, Ireland. Some Golden Plovers were shot at, and missed, which prompted a discussion as to whether they were Europe’s fastest game bird. Consulting reference books did not solve the issue, and it occurred to Sir Hugh that there must be numerous other questions debated nightly in the 81,400 pubs in Britain and Ireland, but there was no book with which to settle arguments about records. He discussed the matter with Ross and Norris McWhirter to see if their fact and figure agency could help. The result was the first Guinness Book of Records being published in time for Christmas 1955.
Bizarrely the question that was the reason for the creation of the Guinness Book of Records was not answered until the 36th edition in 1989: "Britain's fastest game bird is the Red Grouse (Lagopus l. scoticus) which, in still air, has recorded burst speeds up to 92.8-100.8 km/h 58-63 mph over very short distances. Air speeds up to 112 km/h 70 mph have been claimed for the Golden plover (Pluvialis apricaria) when flushed, but it is extremely doubtful whether this rapid-flying bird can exceed 80-88 km/h 50-55 mph - even in an emergency". And I'm sure you knew already but this is a Red Grouse flying at speed, taken on the Peak District Moors.
