G.I.JOE: Resolute Revisited
One of the best franchise re-incarnations to date. Resolute showed a more matured and realistic take on the G.I.JOE story. Here's my photo shoot featuring the heroes, Duke, Flint, Beachhead and of course, Snake Eyes.

Facebok Page.
I sometimes forget about them, but Eels are one of the great Cobra army builders.
Here I armed them with AK-47s to play into the "Navy SEAL" mentality, sort of like the Snow Serpents they share a connection with (according to the file card).
They still need a bit of touching up, but these are the 1992 Eels repainted to match the originals. I've been wanting to do this for quite a while.
A custom Cesspool to lead the Toxo Vipers. The body is a repainted Deep Six v2, and the helmet is from a Secto Viper.
The helmet doesn't stay on perfectly but it's a pretty decent fit.
Zanzibar is having a quiet moment.
The Air Skiff is a weird little vehicle, fun but I could never tell it's supposed to be waterborne or airborne. I watched the commercial on YouTube and it looks like both.
This team of shock viper v2 Work hard on the newest oldest addition to there cobra warehouse. A sentry but not just any sentry the sentry of sentries. The Hiss ver 2.
Now some dopes will argue that the hiss two was the second version of the hiss but thats because they don't do there homework any believe what ever garbage yojoe feeds them. the hiss v1 came out in 1983. The S.M.S Sentry came out in 1985-86. The hiss2 did not come out till 1989.
Mercer would like to chat.
This DEF custom uses the torso of Outback with the lettering scraped off (it was already messed up so I don't feel too guilty).
A custom Stalker that I consider a nice improvement on the Comic Pack Stalker.
It's a head swap with the original figure and the cap is painted a different shade of green.
This is a custom arctic Destro, the body is from a Snow Serpent with a few paint apps.
I guess it's a bit of a "what if" scenario, since it's the gold head Destro still with Cobra.
Another Lost World picture and another Outback custom.
The concept is that GI Joe and Cobra have discovered a lost continent of dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures, and now must face each other in the jungle. But there's more foes out there than just Cobra Troopers.
The dino is a strange but nice one by Schleich that I picked up on closeout.
Alongside his masterpiece, the thunder machine.
I have several more dreadnok customs in the works right now. Two are upgrades to existing customs, and one is original. Maybe more after that.
Recondo has a fire going.
This pic is my first time using the Coastal Defender, which I really like as a trailer for the VAMP.
It also cost me a few pretty serious mosquito bites.
These Eels are launching a new Battle Barge.
Definitely one of the weirder Joe vehicles, but I picked one up to see what use I could get out of it.
The soldier is a custom Naval Trooper.
A custom Rock and Roll using parts from the original, the '89, and the Star Brigade versions.
I'm pretty sure the arms came from a Corps figure.
The aftermarket minigun puts the finishing touch on this one.
I haven't been able to get outside for a Joe photo in a while, so I decided to put one of my Extreme Sets to good use. It's meant for 6" figures, but just like the shot I did of the Toxo Vipers in the Subway Terminal a while back this shows that 3.75" figures can work with these sets too.
Also enjoyed putting that v3 Snake Eyes back in action, it's my childhood figure and I have fond memories of it.
There's only one entrance and one exit, one way in one way out. Make Sure The Hunters are not showing you the way out!
Check out the chocolate city poster!!! :)
A custom version of Treadmark seems to be a good driver for my hand painted jeep.
I always use this jeep for my GI Joe in the Lost World concept.
Went on a road trip today to visit a new toy shop and came home with all this. Got a great deal since I brought some stuff in to trade.
A custom out-of-the-armor version of Sci-Fi, although he does have a protective vest.
It was partially motivated by the interest in using that ubiquitous laser rifle for something.
Night Force Steel Brigade troopers by Red Laser (not my customs) and a Night Force APC I finally finished not long ago.
I did my own Night Force Steel Brigade a while ago, but I picked different colors. It's funny how the scheme can change so much, I tried working in red and didn't like it. On these guys, I like it.
My childhood Ninja Viper. Sent away for this one a long time ago.
It's a collectible now, but I wasn't terribly impressed by it at the time.
This custom Sgt. Slaughter takes on his arch enemies... Cobra BATS. The BATs are Black Major figures and Sarge is a combo using the arms and torso of Frostbite with the legs from Stalker v2.
In the 1980's our youngest son, Bryce, had a huge G. I. Joe collection.
In 2003, he gave to our grandson, David. Being an Army brat, he really enjoyed playing with them.
Roadblock is in a bad spot behind enemy lines. It's a head swapped custom I created after putting Stalker's head on a different body.
But don't worry. He'll be back with Ma Deuce, and all the Vipers in the world won't be able to hold him down.
Snow Job tends to a Polar Battle Bear at GI Joe's arctic HQ. The figure is a custom using a repainted head from Rock and Roll.
Fun fact I learned from a YouTube reviewer, the strange slots in the GI Joe Command Center are a perfect match for this snowmobile, even though it's not mentioned in the blueprints.
This one makes me hear the music to John Carpenter's The Thing.
