At this point of shooting...I mean photographing the cute little chickens, I felt they were comfortable with me enough to step a little closer. I was wrong, the cute little chicken on the right scolded me with some fowl language

Because the corner was a funky shape, I had to build these shelves and cabinet in place. The cabinet houses audio and video components for the big screen TV to the left. The side wall is not square with the back wall, and as you can see I had to build around the "notch" protruding into the space from the left side. The shelves are all hollow... for lighting. The lighting was still not installed at the time I took this. (done by electricians...not me)

I love the fabrics on this little card wallet...kind of a funky space age design on pale blue and it is lined with a rich brown with letters.
We didn’t plan this kitsuke. Tulay (my best friend) actualy got her Kakeshita out to measure up the sleeves for a juban. But before we knew it we made this funky maiko inspired kitsuke out of it. It was done very quick so not everything is perfect (to long darari knot for example) and we also grabbed some items on the fly. But the overall look it funky, bright and Iki!
Just like us,only funkier :)
Quirky seems to be my thing...after years of creating it's about time I fessed up that I like to take the untraveled roads creatively.
