Didn't have any real idea what to call this. So I went for the first nonsense that came into my head.
Reference to the hit single by Jasper Carrott, in the '70s.
(Although most people bought the single for the B side!)
These cloud formations appeared to come from a breaking larger cloud I think, no idea if there’s a name for these structures
For Macro Mondays - Drips, Drops and Splashes.
Not a lot of time to prepare this week so I used and eyedropper to place some droplets on a CD.
Happy Macro Monday!

It's 'Charles de Gaulle', my hybrid tea-rose that just keeps powering on with the most exquisite blooms and super impressive fragrance. I have two 'Charles de Gaulle' hybrid teas in the garden.
Zoom in to see all the details on the petals of this rose.
This is a Meilland rose from France and is a soft purple in colour. It is especially tough, yet ulitmately VERY sweet and funky!!
And here is the late and great George Michael with 'Too Funky'. Check out the weird yet fascinating video:

Treat This #241 - Friday 21 Feb 2020 to Thursday 27 Feb 2020 thanks so much to CatnessGrace for the awesome source images flic.kr/p/2ivButL and flic.kr/p/2ivBriT
This photo was taken with a big (glas) bowl filled with water. The bowl was illuminated from different sides with light (each light source had a different color)
Depending on the strength of each waterdrop, waves with different heights are caused. Depending on the height, different light colors are reflected in the water.
Here is the result. What you need?
Ingredients:
- e.g. Canon EOS 70D
- e.g. Canon EF 100mm
- e.g. 2x Yongnuo YN560-III Flash
- Several light sources
- Transparent color masks
- A big bowl with water
- 1 Pipet
Chosen as pick of the week in Nice as it gets (www.flickr.com/groups/nice_as_it_gets_level_2/) 10/04/2015. Thanks alot!
We saw these flowers in Grand Teton National Park. Kind of a crazy, almost unnatural color in my opinion. Beautiful though.
My purple-edged Italian Renaissance ranunculi.
They are the funky cool cats of the garden. Rapping in my garden to the vibe of Tone Loc. Zoom in to see all the funky macro details, lol.
And so here's 'Funky Cold Medina'. Check out the hilarious retro video from 1989:
