For weeks I had been wasting my time trying to shoot bees and hover flies in flight. On a weekend trip away, we had to make a roadside stop, as my eldest daughter had decided to lose her lunch in the back of the car.
We had stopped near an old builing with a small pond outside, and there, playing around was some blue dragon flies. I've no idea what this one is, but I managed to sneak up on it, and snapped as it tried to get away! This is the only time I've been glad Heather was car sick!
