I thought about using this for my 365 today BUT.... the other pic I had tells more of today's sotry!
While cruising around Clear Lake earlier today, I was intrigue with kids playing at the vertical "squirt" nozzles, a beached sailboat and the view out to the open lake! I
It doesn't get much better than that.... just ask those boys! LOL
my girl nailed all the photos this day. we snuck down to tahiti to surf this little reef pass... Nah this is north shore : b
HR prints...signed for me:-) and a Walden ribbed tank in MY SIZE and my fave color!!! Woot...woot! I love ribbed tanks and wear them often :-)
Also a letter and 2 ikea frames.....I think I will paint them pink!!
I do have the book already but will happily be swapping my unsigned copy :-)
The sun was so bright and beautiful and the pool water was crystal clear. What a treat after an entire day of swimming in the ocean. Fun stuff!
I must confess that I did not crash going through this area. However, I managed to flip my kayak twice in much more mellow areas farther down the river.
hubby says it reminds him of Frankenstein....oh well.

Today is officially my first day of summer. After checking out at school yesterday and having lunch with friends, I came home and cleaned the house. I did not vacuum, as I figured I would do that today.
Today rolled around and I instead went to the town 20 minutes north of here (where I used to live) to visit former coworkers, eat at Chik-fil-A (we don't have one here), run some errands, and see Star Trek for the 4th time. All of this is obviously better than vacuuming. Once I got home I should have started to vacuum, but I got distracted by visiting sites online and reading...and then making this photo.
Is it not human nature to put off the unfun stuff for the fun stuff. This is not my nature (normally), but it has been today. Oh well. I will vacuum tomorrow. Now it's time to start dinner and then hang out with my husband.
And yes, this is another of the tie-dyed shirts I made.

so, off to the madison children's museum we went because while i might be getting old, i'm not too old to hang out with odin at a children's museum where they have fun stuff like a giant hampster wheel that generates electricity for lights!

The past week in San Diego has been fantastic! And of course Ballast Point with cousins was a necessary part of the week.
A couple other good things–
One of my first favorite albums of 2017 has reared its head. If you like Jack Garratt or James Vincent McMorrow, might I suggest Sampha's newest album? I've been digging it.
Also, I've been learning some fun stuff about Mike Illitch, the Little Caesars CEO who also owned the Detroit Red Wings and Tigers. A lot of the athletes he employed are coming out and saying great things about the guy, who happened to quietly pay Rosa Parks' rent for years until she died. I love it when people do secretly incredible things.
I tend to keep concert stubs and reminders of fun events.
These events were all really special to me for various reasons.
