this was red, but somehow i couldn't get a pleasing effect. everything i did either looked too red or too dull and all the curves were lost. so black and white it is and hopefully you enjoy the curves more than you would have enjoyed the red =)

In my mailbox today - my tape order from the delightful From Japan With Love @ Etsy! I am very excited to play with these tapes. Somehow, I managed to take up the whole table at the coffee shop with my fun stuff.

Dang this place does be cold! When you work on a project here, there are only long hours, too-loud music, and the consumption of too much addictive Korean seaweed. Not a healthy lifestyle. Thank goodness we don't do this kind of work all the time. But still, fun stuff.

Today we shot a slough of shots for the film of the actress in many different situations and costumes. The character is well-known in the film and we needed magazine covers and film posters with her likeness.
I took various shots of my own from the sidelines while the photographer worked. Directors get to do fun stuff like that... :-)
the monkey's cardboard kitchen which was so much fun to make!! made using instructions purchased from wonderful etsy seller fortytworoads . the monkey plays with this kitchen every single day.
Pizza: caramelized onions, balsamic & honey reduction, goat cheese, thinly sliced pear & fresh basil. Next time I wi brush the fresh basil with olive oil and salt them - this was delicious, but needed salt and the basil leaves get crispy when baking and would be the perfect salty addition. YUM Fun *and* tasty!
today was so awesome! kylie, haley, and i all planned a suprise birthday party for emily. after church, kylie and i took emily out to lunch to stall while people arrived at her house to suprise her! we then went to swirl and picked up out piggy bank! isnt he just the cutest? emily totally acted like she knew, but she didnt. hahaa then haley and clare and i spent the night. fun stuff :]
