Inspiré d'une publicitée de Donkey Kong Country 2, j'ai réalisé le plus fidèlement possible une reproduction de la GBA SP sur ce même thème.
La console fonctionne parfaitement et est jouable. Elle était en exposition au : Retro Made in Asia (BE), RE-PLAY Festival (FR), Made in Asia / Heysel (BE) , Flashback the vintage Festival (BE) , Play'it / Festival (FR) , ... Elle est entièrement sculptée à la main, certaines parties remoulées (produits: résine, enduit gras, sculpey, acrylique... )
Détails : écran AGS 001 "frontlight" , modèle européen. Touches directionnelles en bambou.
La console est en position ouverte et n'est pas prévue pour se fermer.

The Buffalo City Hall and the McKinley Monument. photographed shortly after sunrise on a winter day. The morning light warms the building a bit and the angle of the sun at that time of the day frontlights the building yet the about 45 degree angle helps define the wall details.

Even during the rare wildflower super bloom California enjoyed in 2016, this scene stood out in a colorful way! The patches of orange covering an unnamed peak are thousands of blossoming California poppies. This mountain in Sierra National Forest forms the eastern wall of the canyon surrounding lower Billy Creek as it’s about to spill into Pine Flat Lake. I was delighted to make this photograph, and I remember how happy I felt, standing here admiring such beauty with nobody else around. Before I snapped the shutter, I paused for a moment to soak in the peacefulness, the fresh air, and the spectacular landscape before me. A month later I returned here to find all the poppies were gone, and the grass was dying from dryness.

On my first visit to Southern California’s Carrizo Plain National Monument, I spotted patches of bright color off of one of the unpaved side roads. I drove down that way and was delighted to find thousands of blossoming wild California Coreopsis (Coreopsis californica) covering the sandy terrain. Following the previous winter's heavy rains during an extended drought, California was enjoying a rare super bloom! Here we are looking north from alongside Simmler Road, with the Temblor Range in the distance, and McKittrick Summit at far right. Coreopsis, a native annual herb, grows in the washes within otherwise dry habitats. A few hundred years ago, California’s Central Valley was a vast grassland where antelope and elk grazed, and wildflowers graced the spring landscape. Today, Carrizo Plain survives as a remnant amid the state’s urban and agriculture development.
With a small group of onlookers watching and waving, CrossCountry 43301 works the 5V50 empty coaching stock from Edinburgh Craigentinny to Leeds Neville Hill depot through the well maintained former Newcastle & Berwick Railway station of Acklington on 12.09.2016.
Driving to the east out of the Zion National Park in Utah I spotted this car/truck parked by the side of the road. It probably retired some years ago, but still so very alive. I wonder what model it is? (year/type).

Opel launched a brand–new Astra at the Frankfurt Motor Show, in September 2015. The Astra K is smaller (5 cm), and lighter (up to 200 kilos) compared to Astra J. Although it is smaller on the outside, Opel claims it is bigger on the inside, than the previous Astra J. Depending on the model and trim level it is up to 200 kilograms - at the very least 120 kilograms - lighter than its predecessor. The completely new vehicle architecture plays a major role in the weight reduction. Every component was checked for compact design and lightweight materials. The bodyshell weight alone was reduced by 20 percent from 357 to 280 kilograms. Additional, chassis-related measures resulted in another 50 kilograms of weight reduction; these include high-strength and ultra-high-strength low-weight steels, compact subframes as well as weight reductions to the front and rear axle. Rear suspension is torsion bar (only with Watts-linkage with top engines), and McPherson struts is it at the front.
Available engines are 1.0 3-cylinder, 1.4 4-cylinder petrol engines and 1.6-litre diesels. It will be available with new full–LED frontlight techniques, A screen in the dash which connect to Android (only lower R4.0 entertainment system) or iPhone comes as standard. This system is already available, in both the Corsa E and Adam.
Opel are offering the ecoFLEX range for 1.0T, 1.4T and 1.6 CDTI engines which have same amount of power, but less CO2-emissions (g/km) and lower fuel consumption. The entire ecoFLEX range have Start/Stop as standard, low rolling resistance tyres and aerodynamic tweaks for reduced drag for lower CO2-emissions. The 1.4T SIDI ecoFLEX version have less torque, rated at 230 Nm at 2.000-4.000RPM, and the 1.0T ecoFLEX version is only available with the EasyTronic 3.0 semi-automatic transmission.

During the wildflower super bloom of 2017, I traveled to southern California’s Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, where I found this meadow of blossoming desert gold or desert sunflower (Geraea canescens) in Borrego Valley. I was impressed by how the sea of gold contrasted with rugged Coyote Mountain in the background. We’re looking northeast at the southern flank of the mountain. Throughout the meadow, there were almost as many caterpillars munching on the flowering plants as there were flowers! These were the larva of the hummingbird moth, one of the largest flying insects in the desert.
