Am 13. Februar so früh wie noch nie (für mich) war der erste der Zugvögel im Garten um sich satt zu futtern.
Es ist noch Sommer und viele Blumen blühen jetzt. Doch einige Blumen sind schon verblüht und haben schon Samen gebildet, die ein Versprechen, eine Hoffnung, in sich tragen, dass sie auch nächstes Jahr wieder blühen werden :-)

It's still summer and a lot of flowers bloom now. But some flowers are already faded and have already made seeds that bear a promise, a hope that they will bloom again next year :-)

With my last title "time to go home...", apparently I created the impression that the Yosemite-series had come to an end. This is not the case, sorry for confusing you.
This picture was taken during an evening walk in the woods. It includes all the things I liked most that evening: the trees, the low sun and the fresh foliage of spring.

The passion during last weeks foggy continues gave me so much joy. Fog transforms a landscape and when the sun brings colour and light to it...you just keep pressing the trigger and every picture is a fairy tale.

The Big Maple Plain (1216 m) is located in the middle of the Alpine Park Karwendel on the Eng Alp in Tyrol, Austria and can be reached only via Upper Bavaria.
The Eng Alp is the biggest alpine pasture of Europe. Here everybody can see how farmers are important for taking care of the landscape. Thanks to their constant care and a regular use of the alpine pastures the big Ahornboden (Maple Plain) can be maintained in perfect conditions. In summer almost 500 cows graze on this alpine pasture and some of the maples are older than 500 years. This splendid tree is one of my most favourite.
