This is the Kern Front Fault Line. It hasn't caused any major earthquakes in our area in a while. But the fault is always on the move. You can see the bump when I drive over it. The road is always being patched there. The road here was repaved in 1984. So you can see that the earth has moved the road a lot. I noticed though in the area where I live that bumps in the roads are starting to show up. Most noticably on Norris Road just South of Meadows Field in Oildale, California.

Anytime I am outside, this is where you will find Charlie… watching out the front window. I’ve been told that he whines and whimpers when I’m outside too. Aww.

These dunes are near the eastern end of dutch island Terschelling. When I took this picture this summer, they were basking in the sun. Being close to the sea, they are now likely to be windswept and wet!

To hold together the tongue and groove siding that the door was made out of, I nailed plywood pieces to the back of it. The plywood was left over from when we had our roof replaced.

Just scanning the front pages of todays newspapers on the news stand and I happened upon this in todays Londonderry Sentinel - It's a shot that I'd taken on December 19th 2007.

Another shot taken the same day was used in another feature earlier in the year by The Derry Journal.
