Random-size and shape stonework on the floor and planter top. The rough rockwork of the planter matches the fireplace.
The fake flowers belonged to the previous owner. The wallpaper in the living room is shiny like silk.
a better view of the big front room, and the original kitchen, which will eventually become a desk/office area but for now is staying a kitchen. it's really a lovely space, despite needing so much work still!

Viscount and Viscountess Boyd of Merton opened their beautiful gardens at Ince Castle in Cornwall to the public as part of the National Garden Scheme.

It looks like my shot of baby coyotes also made Front Page Explore, but in Spanish speaking countries only...I'm not sure. I only found out when I followed a link sent to me by labbernatcg about my shot of Squiggy making FP. Anyway, thanks for all your comments and views ~ it's much appreciated!
Edit ~ I replaced the Spanish speaking version with the English one. Thanks, grass.hopper!

Front of the University Hall on the campus of Friends University in Wichita Kansas. Built in 1886-1888 for the new Garfield University. After years of financial difficulty, James M. Davis of St. Louis purchased the building in 1898 as a gift to the Kansas Society of Friends under the condition that the city of Wichita would donate land for a university. The structure is named for him. It is the largest of the public buildings designed by Proudfoot and Bird.
NRIS #71000328. Added in 1971.
An early view of University Hall:
Slimmed and trimmed, going to take the hair off before casting and need to bulk out the neck some more.
I tried this front brake cable routing with Campy lever and a Weinmann centerpull on my Redcay for a while in the late 1990's to early 2000's, starting when I was using only a front brake with a fixed gear setup. Later after I put the Campy rear brake back on it made less sense and I put the Campy front brake back on too and switched back to the DiaCompe aero levers.
The lighting system with the Lumotec headlight and Schmidt SON hub was also short lived, as I decided I would just not ride the Redcay at night and eventually gave away the Schmidt wheel to a friend.
