Front extension exterior now complete and water tight, driveway just needs the concrete surface completing
Front view. I ended up hiding the home button with the smaller front plate (I did not plan to use it as the front initially). You can put a small piece of foam or cardboard etc behind the front plate, as I did, to access the home button. If only I thought it through before cutting it... Alternatively, you can place the front plate lower, but I kind of like this look better.

Emerlan ambulance at Teguise Market. The side says it is an advanced life support vehicle so I assume this is more likely crewed by paramedics or their equivalent.
Just put this in this past week, using found rocks, scrap wood, lobster compost, perennial divisions, and three flats of purple verbena, blue lobelia and orange zinnias. Hopefully it'll look better in a month!
Ornaments around a door in a dogon village on top of the plateau. The village is more traditional then most villages at the bottom of the escarpment.
This side faces away from the street, but is considered the front of the house. Every room of the original part of the house opens to this part of the yard, which originally had the river view.
