This house was in Pollenca half way up the many steps to a little church that overlooks the town. Bougainvillea grows everywhere on the island and complements the local sandstone extremely well.

Golden fronted woodpeckers live mainly in Mexico and Central America but their range does extend into Texas and parts of Oklahoma. I photographed this male golden fronted at the Santa Clara Ranch in southern Texas.
An interesting fact about these birds is that "they consume about as much fruit and nuts as it does insects. In summer in Texas, the faces of some woodpeckers become stained purple from eating fruit of the prickly pear cactus."

The approaching cloud front, illuminated by the setting sun, acted like a huge reflector that covered the landscape with a very special soft light.

Seen from below, Berlin's Television Tower is quite something to behold. And also at a distance. Its construction started in 1965 and, at 368 metres (over 1200 feet), this is still the tallest building in Germany.
It's the location of several TV and radio stations and it also includes an observation deck from where you can get panoramic views of the city (no more than 400 people can remain on this deck at the same time).

Front Beach in Vung Tau tourist site is also called Tam Duong beach, located in the southwestern direction of Vung Tau, between Tuong Ky and Tao Phung mountains, has a shape like half a moon against the mainland. Front Beach is called Duong Duong because it is an ideal destination for Vung Tau to have the opportunity to watch the sun at sunset or dawn.
