Remains of a building that looks like it could have been a grocery store that is falling apart and has been vacant long enough that the person who people go to for town history was unsure about its history.
Night, near full moon, 180 second exposure, handheld light producing device set to orange, green and some white on the front of the building.

The "Smiling Irishman" is about to leave his used car lot for the last time.
Bob Ryan, 82, whose winsome smile, Kelly green sweater, way with words, low prices and easy payments have lured multitudes of customers to his downtown Louisville car lot for 53 years, is retiring.
"It's gonna hurt," he said. "I've got a lot of memories here."
Ryan, a Cleveland native, built a small used-car empire at Seventh and York streets by doubling as a country disc jockey on Louisville radio stations WKLO and WTMT during the early years of his business -- often doing broadcasts for free in exchange for permission to do live commercials for his car business.
"Be sure and bring $5 with you to the lot," he told listeners in 1961. "Five dollars down and $5 a week is all it takes, and you get a 30-day written guarantee with each and every automobile."
During one of his annual St. Patrick's Day sales, Ryan recalls that he and his staff sold 55 cars in one day -- their all-time record.

While in the Iuka Piggly Wiggly, it kind of made sense to photograph a few other areas of the store besides the hardware aisles, though I didn't get very many more photos. This is looking up from near those tool aisles across the front, over toward the bakery and produce.

I photograph my children often. They are so creative, talented, funny and beautiful. They are my angels, muses, my life. Thanks for sharing my world.
Old style rail dragster, also called a "slingshot".
The front engine dragster naturally came about due to engines initially being located in the car's frame in front of the driver. Because there was no suspension they were prone to becoming unstable at high speed. This was due to their 2,000–3,000 hp, plus having poor tire technology, and very light weight.
In the front engine rail, the driver sits over the top of the differential in a cockpit situated between the two rear tires, a design originating with Mickey Thompson in 1954. This position led to many drivers being maimed when catastrophic clutch failures occurred.
The rail produced a number of fatal wrecks in the 1960s when clutches, bell housings, blowers, and engines exploded.
The drawbacks led to several attempts at rear engine cars, but the rail was only supplanted by the rear engine type when Don Garlits introduced Swamp Rat XIV in 1971. He designed the car while in hospital, having suffered from severe injuries caused by an exploding clutch.

I love my skinny fit black jeans, even if getting into them is always a struggle. Thought I’d do a front and rear view for you as I know some people prefer my bum to my face hehe xx
