My friend pick me up this morning to come and meet her horse 30 years old. They have known eachother since 20 years... I said that I wanted to shoot them cause you never know and its nice to have some memories!
In the early days of our stay in Punta del Diablo, this charming tuxedo cat became our quiet companion, serenading us with her gentle purrs. We learned she’s a local stray, lovingly looked after by the neighbors.

We had such an amazing experience yesterday in Big Sur with 6 California Condors all in one place - many of them flying very low and impressing us with their amazing size. They were flying with Turkey Vultures, and the large size difference was very visible.

Found a Buck moth stuck floating in the river and pulled him into my kayak to dry his wings and hitch a ride to shore.
This is Cathy. I met her a few years ago at Chatfield Farms. She shoots with the same type of camera I have, and she's always looking for the hummingbirds, just like me. She's close to 80 years old and still hikes the foothill trails, although a little slower than she used to. : )

My friend Bert by one of my stone sculptures.
I've known Bert since my early 20's and we lost touch for a while but were reunited again after he signed up for a mosaic class that I was teaching.
