Not sure if this is friendly embrace or an attack! We spotted these Tetragnatha sp. spiders on a walk along the sea wall between Benfleet and Camvey Island! I love these Stretch Spiders or Long-jawed Orb Web Spiders for their beautifully marked abdomens!
For dinner Friday night, I went out with a wonderful group of 10 ladies to the Circular Dining Room at the Hotel Hershey. Here I am with my good friend Melissa. Melissa goes there every year; one of the waitresses recognized her and came by to say Hi.

My friend is homeless, but that doesn’t mean she is without a sense of fashion. She loves bright colors, especially red and blue. I look for her every time I am downtown and buy her lunch. She is a sweet person.
My good friend Ben sadly passed away last Sunday. He brought me to Rogue Bricks back then and was very supportive in my early days, gave me tips and whenever we met at an exhibition, we could have chatted for hours. Thank you for everything Ben, I will always think of you!
Seems like less bees, but plenty of other insects in the garden.
