Its fun capturing the changing shapes as the soap bubble freezes but its cold work. It has to be about 15 F or colder o ryou don't get the interesting frost shapes.

Rain turning into freezing rain settled in yesterday making it a freezing rainy day. :-)

Minus 20 degrees today, feels like 25-30 in the breeze. The sea started to ice. In the foreground there is some gentle movement of ice peaces, and in the background the sea steam is coming up as the temperature is dropping.
A bitterly cold and still morning in the Midlands of Tasmania. The sun is about to rise for the day, however the warmth will be minimal. I can't recall ever experiencing a frost as heavy as this one.
