Many thanks to all of you for your visits, faves and kind comments! Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!
Where else could you see wild horses playing freely? Iceland, that is. These 2 horses were in a band of wild horses that were roaming the ocean side of Vestrahorn, the volcano, black sands. We came here for some landscape photos, but came across these horses, and I didn't have any long lenses with me except the 70-200mm F4. Since these, I assumed, were wild horses, I didn't want to venture too closely, so the best I could do was to stay far and took their environmental portraits.
At the end of some shots of these horses, I took a series of photo's of the background, and merged them together into this pano.
Lens: Nikon 70-200mm VR F4, F8, ISO 2000, Focal 185mm, Shutter speed 1/30 secs (notice..this is very slow shutter speed for this type of moving objects), and hand-held. The VR and the objects being far away, gave me the acceptable sharpness.
That was my first thought when I saw this area couple of years ago for the first time. ;)
Grafelijkheidsduinen - Noord Holland
The area was used to extract drinking water. When this stopped in 1982, a beautiful area with dune lakes arose. Now the area is managed by Landscape North Holland. In the part that is closed off, Highland cattle and Konik horses are kept. The walking and biking trails in the area are freely accessible.

Pitangus sulphuratus (Great Kiskadee / Bichofué gritón)
The Great Kiskadee is one of the larger and more showy tyrant flycatchers and exhibits an array of interesting behavior.
Unlike most tyrant flycatchers, the Great Kiskadee freely displays its bright crown stripe. When especially excited, it erects its yellow crown feathers, forming an ephemeral crest.
The Great Kiskadee’s total range extends from south Texas through Mexico and Central America to central Argentina. It is found on some Caribbean islands, e. g. Trinidad, and has been introduced to Bermuda.
I can see right through you. No part of you is hidden from me. Sunshine travels freely through every part of your body. And in spite of that, incredibly, I don’t know where you are in there!
I believe you may be an animal known as a salp – but I prefer to call you Transparent Creature as this captures the mystery of you. When I look at you, I am face to face with it: The unknown. In truth, I can’t tell if you are an animal or a plant, or even whether you are alive or not.
As I stare at you in wonder and admiration, somewhere from within the deep of me there rises a feeling of joy. You take me back into that place where things don’t have to make sense. Your shiny body is like a mirror, and as I’m looking at you, I see the truth that hides deep down in all of us, the truth that life itself will always remain inexplicable - and fantastically beautiful!
Encountering you changed my morning. Suddenly, I felt wide awake and filled with a strange exhilaration. Even though I could see nothing inside of you, I think for a moment I had glimpsed the light of cosmic love in there!
Be inexplicable and shiny!

The name Nieuwpoort is derived from the Latin ‘Nova Portus’, freely translated as the ‘New Harbour’. Nieuwpoort is one of the smallest Dutch fortified towns and was founded around 1200 by the Lords of Liesveld and Langerak. Nieuwpoort had a part to play in the functioning of the old Hollandse Waterlinie. In the 17th century, on the recommendation of Prince William of Orange, Nieuwpoort was given ramparts and canals in a fortress with six bastions. A pleasant walk along the fortifications can be combined with a visit to the Oudheidkamer [Antiquities Room] in the town hall, where the history of Nieuwpoort is relived. Nieuwpoort, with its protected townscape, is a part of the municipality of Liesveld, together with Groot-Ammers, Langerak and Streefkerk.

Why should someone freely stand up at 4 o clock in the morning during his holidays ? That why ! I rarely witnessed a sunrise what flabbergasted me as much as this one here at Ponta da Piedade in Portugal.
It was still quite dark here, as I arrived and in the light of my headlamp I could only surmise what was waiting for me. As brighter as it became as more breathtaking became the scenery around me. I was all on my own here in this magical surroundings for at least three hours. What a moving experience.
This place is so amazing, that I could spend a week only here and for sure I would find something new to explore every day.
But it were only a sunrise and a sunset though and what I discovered, You will see during the next days.
Warum sollte irgend jemand freiwillig in seinem Urlaub vier Uhr morgens aufstehen ? Darum !

And just like a water baby, Baby,

Abandoned by Spanish settlers more than 500 years ago, according to local lore, feral horses roam freely on Cumberland Island off the north tip of Amelia Island.
On the way to Rio Serrano, we met this group of Guanacos. They were freely moving around and totally ignored that they interrupted the traffic. Who care! This is their open world.
I freely admit that I am possibly, slightly, a tad obsessed with animals. I always tell my husband it could be alcohol or drugs or gambling and he did buy the camera...In Birds Hill Park, Manitoba.
The Tilburgse Wandelbos and Warandebos is where the Siberian chipmunk walks around freely. And they're such cute creatures. Much smaller than our native Red squirrel.
At the closure of the Tilburg zoo in 1973 (competition became too big), when the animals were moved, a box with these chipmunks fell on the ground, which then burst open. It was not possible to catch them, so more than 45 years later Siberian chipmunks can still be found in the wild in Tilburg.
Perhaps the best-known group of Narcissus, many of these large Trumpet Daffodils such as 'King Alfred' have been favorites since Victorian times. Multiplying freely, these terrific naturalizers have a long blooming season. Large flowers, with trumpets as long as or longer than the flower petals.

The great horned owl (Bubo virginianus), also known as the tiger owl or the hoot owl, is a large owl native to the Americas. It is an extremely adaptable bird with a vast range and is the most widely distributed true owl in the Americas. Its primary diet appears to be rabbits and hares, rats and mice and voles, although it freely hunts any animal it can overtake, primarily other rodents and small mammals, but also larger mid-sized mammals, various birds, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates.

This Gothic bed was built with a lot of detail and care.
The detailing in the wood is crazy and done amazing by eowyn.
There is an adult version with bondage, and a PG version with cuddles
Both have Vampire animations as well for your Gothic-y Vampire roleplays :D
The bed itself comes in three wood tones, Black wood, Classic Brown or White wood
The drapes come in a sheer version that can be tinted any color you want
and the solid version comes with an extensive texture hud full of choices :)

This Great Blue Heron was standing on something natural in the water that was floating freely and was a nice place for him to fish from. Until he made a sudden movement to catch a fish then his floaty-blob perch started to roll and he had to flap around to regain his balance. PS....Hope my Floaty-blob perch reference made sense to most of you and wasn't too technical. ;)

are often closer to our hearts than anyone else.

Anime salve
Anime salve in terra e in mare
Sono state giornate furibonde
Senza atti d'amore
Senza calma di vento
Solo passaggi e passaggi
Passaggi di tempo
Ore infinite come costellazioni e onde
Spietate come gli occhi della memoria
Altra memoria e non basta ancora
Cose svanite facce e poi il futuro
I futuri incontri di belle amanti scellerate
Saranno scontri
Saranno cacce coi cani e coi cinghiali
Abortire i figli come i sogni

When you wake up, it just might be
The first of many blows that you'll receive
Today, what we need
We want what we need
We need what's above
We're always reaching for something above
But we've got enough
All of the haves, they have not
Not got half of what we got
They want more, I just want you
Better believe it, I beg of you
Why don't you know that I know
When you're hurting after all these years, I know
Like Siamese twins
I can feel every one of your senses
We're just the same
Unconditional love, easier said
Said than done
We want what we need
We need what's above
We find ourselves reaching for something above
But we've got enough
All of the haves, they have not
Not got half of what we got
The ceiling's so high
When you're down on the floor
It's easy to be wanting
To be wanting more
All those years ago
When we could have met
So hard, oh, hard not to regret
But I know we got
A lot of life, life to live yet
We want what we need
We need what's above
We find ourselves reaching for something above
But we've got enough
All of the haves, they have not
Not got half of what we got
They're wanting more, I'm just wanting you
Oh, better believe me, all I'm begging of you
All of the haves with all that they do
All of the haves, they ain't got you
They ain't got you
They ain't got, they ain't got
I got you, got you
I got you

Sheep can wander freely across much of Dartmoor, though I understand flocks tend to keep to their "own" areas. This sheep obviously decided the local grass was not up to standard and the grass on the top of this ancient stone wall was more succulent. This is at what is known as Four Winds near Merrivale. There was once a school here for the children of local quarry workers and farmers, but this closed in 1936 although the buildings were not finally cleared from the site until 1964.

We were staying in a small hotel in La Cerdaña and the rest of the family arrived the next day so we had a day to photograph freely and walk around wherever we wanted.
The truth is that the weather was very bad, overcast, cold, lugubrious that did not invite to photograph great landscapes, because everything would have been gray.
It occurred to me that we could go and visit the lake of Puigcerdá that I had not seen for many years.
Maybe due to bad weather, I could do it without hindrance, tourists or visitors. Desert. Everyone at home.
The truth is that, sheltered up to the nose, I enjoyed a lot making pictures in piecework and the dim light that illuminated the lake was more than enough, without the hardness of sun and shadows that later it costs much to edit.
This is just one of them.
(Really it is not a lake, but an artificial pond of the 12th century, but this is another story.)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
