Magnification loupe used for replacing tiny eyeglass screws was used to represent magnifying glass for inspection of evidence "clues" as per the detective, Sherlock Holmes. The "evidence" pieces are 3/16 inch. The entire image is under 2 and 3/4 inches. Photo taken on black vinyl covered card table with most difficult part being to achieve focus and avoid reflection. This is a fixed item (a goblet) in the centre of a picnic table set up in one of my local church gardens. It looked so striking standing there in the middle of all the pristine snow.

Taken for Macro Monday's theme "Musical Instrument" This is the drum stick and drum that my daughter brought back from Jamaica. I never noticed the face in the stick until I did this macro shot. Can you see the face??? Thought it was just a tiny black speck on the stick! Have a HMM friends.

Why Taipei? My first and best memories were all here in this big city, when I was just four or five. It was the light, the mood on cold rainy days in winter. The city has been changing so swiftly. Got to have the trip! Got to hold on to some moments... The city was still in sleep while I was walking to the MRT station. Some venders were awake preparing for business. Most were asleep.

Every once in a while I like to look back through my photos from one year ago to the day and see what I was photographing . I took this photo on a side road in Chatt.,Tn.,through the windshield of my hubbys truck. This guy was laid back taking life easy and I couldn't help but notice the Peeples St. sign. Close enough spelling for me.
