A very small fault which flows into the Mediterranean Sea, remains unfathomable, and the sea water which crosses this fault, makes the water a little brackish.

A day at Gandy's Beach on the Delaware Bay in New Jersey.
At high tide, the water now comes right up to the house, happily feeling like you are on a houseboat. But worrisome with hurricane season coming. This family already rebuilt part of their house in 2012 with the major hurricane Sandy......the downside of living by the water.
...light my fire (you knew that was coming). Difficult theme to try to get something a little different, so kept it simple. And last minute. Just like homework in those bygone school days.

The Barberousse tower is located in the coastal village of Gruissan in the Aude department. It overlooks the ruins of a fortified castle and this is all that remains of a castle built at the end of the 10th century to observe the surroundings of the port of Narbonne and protect the city against raids by Saracen pirates. Built on a steep rocky hill, the castle was extended in the 13th century.
In the 17th century, Richelieu ordered the destruction of the building which was then abandoned.
Today, the village of Gruissan, built in circulade, surrounds the ruins of the castle.
Backing on to the Clape massif, surrounded by the sea and the Ayrolle pond and in the heart of the Narbonnaise Regional Nature Park in the Mediterranean, the Salin de l'île Saint Martin spreads over 400 hectares on the edge from the village of Gruissan. A walk lasting around 1h20 through the salt parks will reveal the astonishing alchemy of the sun and the wind which combine their efforts to produce salt.

The African Reserve of Sigean located on the edge of ponds and near Narbonne, is a wild natural space where we can observe, on foot and by car, a great variety of animals (mammals, reptiles and birds) and a Mediterranean flora. It’s an animal park where children and adults can discover and "approach" animals in semi-captivity.
I forgot to specify that this photo is not quite mine. I took this photo which was a photo posted on the wall of the cheetah enclosure. As they were not determined to show themselves, and yet I waited a long time to take a picture of them, so I took this picture out of spite and frustration. I only paid attention to the unsightly reflections and then I worked on it.
My nephew and I love searching for feathers when we go out walking - it's like finding treasure. We both have quite a collection. This one is absolutely tiny, and I think it dropped off a rosella. We have the most beautiful, brightly coloured birds here in Australia. Each time I see one I haven't come across before, it gets a tick in my bird book.

This is a public art work exhibited in Xinzuoying Train Station, created by Yu-chin Huang. The concept of the work is to render the flow of passengers and their mixed emotions during the trip.

Today I went back out early in the morning to find treasures, a horrible day, cold and rain, so I asked the girl in the bookstore if she let me photograph her books, and besides that she left me, I could accommodate some for the photo :)
