D6575 heads downhill at Castle Hill nicely framed by a hole in the hedge. The Crompton was heading to Minehead on the West Somerset railway.
Comparing my current frame to a bare Teknomeka frame (built back in ~2006 for reference while making the old 2008 zaku). It seems to have the same forward/backward stability as the Teknomeka frame, but has better side to side hip stability. So the current legs should be good to go. The chest joint needs reworked, too much slop and the gearing is too hard to get too for what little movement the chest will have.
Fender fit up, just in time for the weather change.
This CSI received a pretty heavy make over.

I used one of the holes in the bridge to frame the shot! A guy standing there near me asked what made me think of that. I just told him that it looked like a good idea at the time!

We framed dozens of tweets from people saying nice things about Typekit and surrounded our whiteboards with them. Inspirational.
Khmer temple ruins are a framed feature in this ornate doorway, now leading to nothing much at all. Part of the small Banteay Srei temple complex, a short distance from the better known Angkor Wat. Built from warm, red sandstone, it was originally a 10th Century Hindu temple.
I had a print made today that was so life like it was just pouring out of the frame!
I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!
I put this together just to see if I could. It's a larger, more posable frame. It's got elbow, shoulder, waist, leg, knee and ankle joints. It's more to scale with the CHUB and other official MFØ mecha.

(So, I said I'd get better pictures when I finished the ranged weapon, so here it is. Also, some background.)
The AT was initially developed as an industrial frame meant to help move crates and boxes in shipping yards. A mining version (the AT-M) was developed after the AT garnered a reputation for being supremely reliable and able to handle the most adverse conditions imaginable. Eventually, a mercenary company bought a used AT for use on a base, and was quickly refurbished into a security frame that could handle combat. Eventually a cannon was added to the shoulder for the mech's use in actual combat, where it kept pace with mecha initially designed for combat.

A first attempt with the medium mech frame supplied by chubbybots. Loved working both in this scale and with a pilot.
Just a little vendor on the side of the Sonar Qila fort's driveway (driveway? The road inside the fort) selling photo frames. Wish that damn lamp wasn't in the way.

Zeiss Ikon Ikoflex IIa w/ Zeiss-Opton Tessar 3.5/75 and Kodak Tri-X @ EI 1600 (Kodak D76 1:1, Ilford rapid fixer). f/5.6, 1/25s. Epson V700 and Silverfast SE Plus 8.0 @ 4800 dpi, downsized to 2400 dpi. Retouched and cropped.
I've almost forgot that I took this shot. I like it's quirky nature.
I took this photo before I had invested in a cable release, hence not perfect sharpness. And the downside with TLR's is that the photo in the background wasn't cut off when I framed the photo, although it was just barely in the frame.

Inside the café, the half-frame view feels like two scenes at once. On one side, bright daylight and a high industrial ceiling lead your eyes toward the counter and the sign on the back wall. On the other side, warm wood tones and soft lamps make the space feel quieter and more intimate. The dark column in the middle becomes a natural “divider,” turning an ordinary moment into a gentle story of contrast and calm.

Ok here is part two of my trip with rasenkantenstein and I hope the disappointment about this image is not too big. I write this because my last image got impressively much attention but at the same time it was the image that I would consider the best from our trip so from now on its just going doooooown.
This picture is totally contrary to the last one IMO but I am anxious about how you react on that probably unexpected kind of image.
After checking out my stream you also have to watch rasenkantensteins stream for uploads because his results from that trip and his past images are just awesome!!!
