Yay, I finished my first frame purse :-) I used the Fortune Cookie Clutch pattern from u handbag, which went together like a dream (even the dreaded curved seams - thanks pins. I couldn't have done it without you!) The pattern calls for compressed fleece, which is what i used, but I think fusible fleece would give the same result and would be a little easier to use too. The only change I made was to use firm interfacing rather that the medium which the pattern calls for. I wanted this purse to really hold it's shape.
I found the hardest part the gluing, I needed more hands than I have :-) but it's all done and dusted now and I'm not put off making more! Everyone will be getting frame purses for christmas this year :-)
Very short for time, took a different route, framing my visiting daughter-in-law´s lovely face with a shawl, for a mysterious look at her French-Lebanese beauty.
This photo wasn't for angle, it was for framing. There are two big trees that are next to each other and it's hard to avoid having one or both grow out of the car.
Khmer temple ruins are a framed feature in this ornate doorway, now leading to nothing much at all. Part of the small Banteay Srei temple complex, a short distance from the better known Angkor Wat. Built from warm, red sandstone, it was originally a 10th Century Hindu temple.

I just really, really wanted to use those green heads in this piece. (As a result, it falls apart from just looking at it too intensely.)
...Any of the other turtles might have been a better choice for a build, as I found I have a pretty narrow selection of violet pieces - but Donatello is my favorite.

Yesterday after church I took a ride in the country to get some photos. In the tiny town of Bigelow I found some graffiti covered box cars. It reminds me of some I've seen in Roland. The box cars and the railroad track looked great and I would have just taken a photo them but since this is for Me Again Monday I jumped up into the shot and "framed" myself in the doorway.
You have to be careful in the Arkansas countryside. As I hopped down some stray pit bulls came along and started snarling and barking at me. Good thing there were lots of rocks around. Normally I'm a dog lover but thoughts of self preservation kick in at times like this. HMAM !!
Incredible and too rare italian track frame, the WILIER is copper plated, which became the traditional color
scheme for the Wilier professional team bikes after World War 2.

Doxford was once famed for its marine diesel engines, Its now famed for its 70s chic furniture and widespread furn growth.
Lots of good art hanging on the walls at Epic. This one deserved a frame. The painting is signed, but I don't know who the artist is.
Created with fd's Flickr Toys. I have the day off school because of freezing rain, so I have been playing...
Another photo to continue with the south coast series. This was taken from the same spot as Reflecting on Mollymook on the rocks on the south side of Mollymook beach on the New South Wales south coast. The local board riders were calling this spot the Blowhole.
Constructive critisism, comments and suggestions are always welcome!
