Sophie Evans and Leonie Follen, two students at University Campus Suffolk, went to Felixstowe's Art on the Prom and took photos of various people, on the beach, in conjunction with one of four brightly coloured frames. I was one of those people - left hand side, second from bottom - so made a note of the date when the results would be displayed in the Waterfront Foyer. Sadly, as the photos are behind glass and the foyer is lit with strip-lights it was impossible to take a photo without glare.
This thatched, oak cruck framed barn was built in 2013 in a joint project between the Eaton Estate and Chester Renaissance. The purpose was to keep heritage skills alive by using modern and old-style building materials and methods. The barn is used as a public shelter and has a brick barbecue built into the chimney.
Photo taken using a Canon PowerShot A1200. It's a tiny camera but it's possible to get impressive results especially in sunny conditions as in this photo (in my view not too good in in low light though).
This is a picture frame album

If anyone would like to join the group and play along with us please let me know-it's fun!

On a walk around Hythe in Hampshire I come across this wooden frame, so I decide to take some shots of it at different and dynamic angles, I took upwards shots of it to reflect the meaning of construction.
This photo shows an example of natural framing. I had my model climb a tree so it could Fram her. I warmed this photograph to bring the colours of the tree and the tone of her skin brighter and more vibrant. I also bright up the vibrance up a small amount to bring out more colour.
