Just my luck to find it foggy with low visibility
Windermere is a town and civil parish in the South Lakeland District of Cumbria, England. It has a population of 8,245 and lies about half a mile (1 km) away from the lake, Windermere. Although the town Windermere does not touch the lake (it took the name of the lake when the railway line was built in 1847 and the station was called "Windermere"), it has now grown together with the older lakeside town of Bowness-on-Windermere, though the two retain distinguishable town centres. There are a number of museums, but the main attraction for the tourists is the lake itself that touches Bowness at the bottom of the hill (about a twenty minute walk from the top of Windermere town). Here there is a beautiful view of the mountains. Boats from the piers in Bowness sail around the lake, many calling at Ambleside or at Lakeside where there is a restored railway.
A rally on the birthday of Nathan Bedford Forrest to save the statue and resting place of Nathan Bedford Forrest in Memphis, TN.
Misty rain, cold and no tripod but managed a couple of shots leaning on a tree. This is Buderim Forrest and a fantastic rain forrest setting with raised board walks and great photo opportunities.
Opened in 1988, Forrest Chase and the Myer building are soon to be redeveloped into a soulless steel and glass monolith. So I decided to document the CRAP out of them before they're gone for good.

Autograph of Edwin Forrest (1806-1872), first star of the American stage. The autograph is in ink and accompanies a quote by Joseph Addison which Forrest wrote above his name in Philadelphia on March 2, 1862. The quote and autograph were written on a piece of paper which was cut down and adhered to a large piece of white paper for display purposes, as an etching of Forrest was adhered above the quote and autograph and labeled 'Edwin Forrest Tragedian!'
