Opened in 1988, Forrest Chase and the Myer building are soon to be redeveloped into a soulless steel and glass monolith. So I decided to document the CRAP out of them before they're gone for good.

These are the smoke columns from a forrest fire that has been burning in the Blue Ridge Mountains east of Roanoke, Virginia. The fire was started on March 4th by someone dumping ashes from a wood stove. The fire has so far burned over 1400 acres.
