One of the most recognizable views in the Navajo Reservation, with Monument Valley in the background, is Forrest Gump Point. In the 1994 film, Forrest Gump stopped running near the 13th marker on Route 163 and delivered his famous “put the past behind you” line.
This was taken at Forrest Park in St. Louis. Finally saw some sun today, so I took my camera out and dusted off the cobwebs :). I'll be posting the photos from today soon! Have a great week ahead everyone!

Approaching Monument Valley on Highway 163. Photo taken at sunset. This view is called Forrest Gump Point because this is where Forrest Gump stopped running in the movie.

This bridge is at the eastern entrance to Glacier National Park, Montana. We were told by a few employees that this is the bridge Tom Hanks ran across in the movie "Forrest Gump".
It is a beautiful bridge . .
Another woodland shot from me from a few weeks ago now… still a good few to PP from that morning! Apologies at the lack of comments and replies lately… time has just been thin on the ground lately… ill try to catch up soon! I really appreciate each and everyone of you who takes time out your busy day to glance at my photo work and leave comments.
This shot was taken when I was out strolling around in the nearby nature reserve of "Norra Järvafältet". I was looking for a single tree located in a grassy field so I could take a "frosty, foggy" shot later this year. I didn´t found exactly what I was looking for but I found this tree and decided I should try to find some good compositions. The tree's branches form a bit of a "mushroom hat" and are fairly symmetric. I will go back in the autumn and see how the scene changes and what colors that bring. This image is processed to be on the warm side, with saturated colors and "golden" glow to it.
This shot was taken with my Nikon D7200 and Sigma 24-105mm f4.0 art lens.
