..one few weeks back. Painting in the middle of the forrest on some kind of semi-crackhouse. Actually the place was so torn up it isn't even good enough to be a crack house. It's in terrible condition. No ceilings or roof. Pretty much barely standing there. It was most likely over -10 or -15 degrees. As it seems to be on most of the days at this season. Had a great time. Or at least decent, calming down my nervousness of not painting. Used every kind of shitty brand you can name on this one. From weird metal primer to everything else. And some good old Montana for the outline.

This is my first shot with dslr. I just unpack un, poit at the nearest forrest and shoot. I think this is not so bad.

From a short vacation. Veluwe Holland. Spotting dears in the forrest and we found some.

A forrest. Trees planted like in a computer game editor.

This is Forrest Chase which is in the heart of the PERTH CBD. I love weather like this but as you can tell by the somewhat empty streets, not everyone does. I got quite a bit of use out of my 17-40 recently, I haven't used it much for urban shooting so it was very interesting using it. I found objects directly above me in the frame which amazed me and had myself wondering what it would be like to shoot with the 11-24.

Approaching the end of the forrest shots for now...

Probably one of the most recognizable views ever. From the movie 'Forrest Gump', where Forrest stopped running. I could have enhanced this photo to make it look more dreamy as i've seen others do it. But i decided not to and keep it original.

Pinecone and moss in Lithuanian forrest. No filters, no software treatment, no tripod, no composing - pure natural light, wild forrest and a bit of luck noticing this gem of nature.

Self.

Too bad the focus was so narrow, but sometimes it's charming.
